The Best Time

We had never been to Canada before, nor ever used an RV, and I can only say that we had an exceptional time touring the Rockies in our RV, provided through Authentik Canada. Our week in the Rockies was the highlight of our five week trip to Canada, our retirement present to one another, and given a chance I would do it all over again.

Vancouver-Edmonton

Rented a C30 X Large. 10 metres long. Good size with slide out was great. Well appointed. Generator useful on sites with no hook up. Air blown heating useful but too hot in the bedroom and not warm enough cab end. Not too much of a problem as it was Summer although we hit some snow at Jasper. The V10 engine was powerful enough for the mountains returning 12 mpg.

Everything we needed

Very organised company; shuttled us to and from the airport hotel. Hand over didn't take too long so were soon on the road. Medium class van was easy to drive with all the equipment we needed. Would have liked to try the bigger engined version (but then that would have been even more fuel required!). Found some of the road users behind to be quite pushy on highways, probably not understanding that a van is not quite as easy to handle as a car? [...]

Holiday of a lifetime!

I was a bit concerned about hiring such a big RV as I have never driven one before, and never driven on the right hand side. However we ended up having the holiday of a lifetime! The process of booking the RV, through to collection in Vancouver, and drop off were very easy and smooth. Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful. We watched the instruction video before we went, which was useful, but we also got a full handover when we collected and were shown round and given plenty of information and the opportunity to ask as many questions as we needed. We were also able to purchase smokies for breakfast which were being grilled in the car park, and paid by donation as all proceeds were going to a local charity. We opted to include bedding and kitchen utensils in our package, and can not fault what was included, which included useful items like salt and pepper, soap and washing up liquid. Doesn’t sound like much, but very useful! The RV itself was also very comfortable and plenty of storage.

Customer service when we returned the RV in Calgary was just as good, minus the smokies though. We were offered a free shuttle to our hotel, but realised that our hotel wasn’t on the list they dropped off at. The lady at the desk suggested that they drop us off at another hotel which was close to our hotel and gave us a number for a local taxi which we could book to take us the last few minutes of the journey, which saved us a fortune compared to getting a taxi for the full journey.

Great service

Couldn't fault four seasons or fraserway in their customer service. Everything arranged was done so without issue, including shuttles to and from airport.

The only problems we faced were most of the sockets in the rv did not work. However, this was a minor issue and did not inconvenience our trip at all. Great trip and great experience. Thanks.

Great trip

The trip was awesome. Rental was easy and the rv was great. Only thing was that some curtains were not completely functioning anymore due to missing tape etc.

Great Motorhome

Enjoyed the great comfort of the motorhome on our journey from Halifax to Calgary

Motorhome was much better than I hired before

Interior was so much more spacious than one that I rented before. It was for five passenger but this motor home has a super comfortable king bed in the read, and the front beds are also big enough for adults. Awning was awesome. It even has a lighting which I didn't expect at all. And we had great camping experiences due to outside table and chairs. Only thing that I wanted was audio system. I wish I could enjoy my music on my iPhone on the wheel. [...]

Great road trip Vancouver to the Rockies and back

Rented an XL motorhome from Fraserway through Authentik. We originally booked the rental for 2020 but Covid stopped all that. Marie-Michele at Authentik was very helpful during this time, keeping us informed and communication was excellent. The vehicle itself was perfect for our needs, a couple of niggles with a blind that was broken and a cupboard door that came off but these were more to do with Fraserway's maintenance than Authentik and in no way did they affect our trip.
I would highly recommend Authentik if you are thinking of visiting this beautiful country! [...]

Excellent service received by the staff at Fraserway and by the team at Authentic. Vehicle was very new and clean and met all of our expectations.

Great holiday!

It was a hassle-free pick-up and drop-off with Four Seasons / Fraserway. They collected us from the hotel exactly at the agreed time and dropped us at the airport afterwards. Great service. Thank you Authentik for helping arrange this!

Good renting experience

The RV was well maintained
the introduction of the guide was useless , but paying in advance for not having to clean the out side and insides was a wise decision

Best way to travel

First time renting an RV, had lots of questions and the staff at Authentik were all very helpful and prompt with their responses. Very good experience and would use them again.

Great company to hire from. Vey clean and tidy RV. Staff we very friendly and helpful answered any problems we had. Only negative was when contacted about a problem with a door, they never got back to us( but we managed with the door)

Rocking the Rockies

RV was new, clean and staff were excellent. We had great fun. Only recommendation is they get busy so get there before 9am on collection and drop off otherwise it’s takes over an hour

Good service but problematic RV

Large and spacious RV with abundant provision of crockery, cooking utensils, bedding etc. Unfortunately, the fridge.freezer stopped working as soon as we hooked up to the electricity at our first campsite. Fraserway sent an instruction manual by email describing how to reset it but still required us to part-dismantle the machinery. Next the door handle broke and again we were instructed how to swap the freezer handle over to open the fridge, again requiring a screwdriver and handiywork. A leak at the water heater caused the water pump to cut in repeatedly when no water was being used. To their credit, Fraserway immediately waived the excess mileage charge on returning the vehicle in view of the problems we had experienced. [...]

From start to finish authentik Canada have been extremely helpful. This holiday was booked in 2019 and was booked for June 2020 due to covid it had to be postponed not once but twice . Through out this time the staff kept me informed of my options and answered all my questions efficiently . The motor home was well maintained and we had no issues at all . When we picked it up in Calgary the staff took time and explained everything to us . The interior was flawless everything worked and the pots pans , Cutlery and bed clothes perfect. This was a holiday of a lifetime so thank you authentik Canada for making it happen. [...]

Excellent campervan disappointing authentik experience

The service provided by four seasons and the campervan and facilities provided were excellent and could not be faulted. When we booked authentik had an offer where mileage was free which we included but upon check out with four seasons had to pay for the milage in addition as it hadn't been included with our authentik booking documentation.

Wonderful two weeks

The RV was clean and well prepared. It seemed a little noisy the first day but ran well after that. The online video was useful in preparing for the trip and made the handover more relevant.

You have to pay for bedding and kitchen equipment. The recent rise in petrol (gas) prices meant quite a hefty fuel bill.

We traveled from Vancouver to Whistler to Kamloops to Jasper to Lake Louise to Banff to Calgary and covered about 2,300 Kms.

I would recommend this trip to anyone to enjoy the marvelous scenery and the warmth of the Canadian people. [...]

Fun fall trip

We really enjoyed the RV. It was our first time doing this though we are very experienced campers.

We were very very pleased with the support from CanaDream throughout the trip and would gladly use them again in future.

Fantastic first experience with RV

After dreaming and planning for a year, finally we could travel to Canada and go on a two-week trip with TCA. Authentic Canada employees were very helpful and friendly and provided us with all of their professional advices. The Pickup service was also very smooth and friendly staff walked us through everything.
It was so fascinating to see how much space and comfort we got in such a (reletavely) small camper. Customer service were also very supportive in case we had any questions or issues. We definetly would like to try RV camping in Canada again and discover more beautiful places.

Service impeccable!

Le service offert à notre arrivée et notre retour au centre de location à Calgary a été impeccable.Explications claires et précises sur l’utilisation du VR . Durant notre séjour, nous avons eu en petit ennui avec le frigo, nous avons utilisé leur ligne d’aide durant voyage : retour d’appel rapide d’un agent qui nous a trouvé rapidement un réparateur près de notre emplacement, même si nous étions un samedi.Une équipe bien rôdée et un VR qui répondait à nos besoins voilà une partie du succès de notre voyage aller-retour de Calgary à Jasper. British Columbia 2021

We had some issues with our motor home on the first day. Our air conditioning and outlets didn’t work due to a burnt wire under our bed. Fraser way RV was quick to send out someone to fix it. Day 7 into our 10 day trip it happened again so they sent out a whole new motor home to us in Fairmont. At drop off we were then refunded a portion of what we paid. Yes, we had some serious issues but I think Authentik Canada/RV Fraserway handled everything properly. [...]

Best Campervan Ever

Hands down the best road trip I have ever been on! Everything from booking with Authentik, to picking up the van from Karma was so easy and organized, it really was stress free! The van itself was also great - very modern interior, super comfy, easy to drive, my girlfriend and I loved every second we were living in it. We called it “our house”. Super awesome.
I’ll definitely be renting again and highly recommend you do the same! [...]
