I booked via email with Valérie as none of the websites for car hire would allow pick up in Montreal and drop off in Toronto. She got me the car I wanted at a reasonable price. On collection of the car though it wasn’t what I ordered and the car rental firms in town office couldn’t or wouldn’t help. Valérie called round tirelessly to resolve and with a little help from an escalation within Avis managed to resolve. Exceptional service from Authentik Canada for my Car Rental
I booked my car rental through Authentik Canada, and am so glad I did. From the booking all the way to the day of Rental I received great support from Marie-Chloe. Booking your car rental or other services from Authentik Canada and you will be assured of help and support especially when there is an issue with the provider. When I went to Thrifty to get my STANDARD size car. The Thrifty staff Jason, who didn’t look happy when I turned down offers for upgrades and add-ones, gave me only two car choices, a Toyota Corolla and Nissan Sentra. I asked if he had VW Jetta but he told me he did not have anything else. I asked if the Corolla is a standard size, he said yes. So I had no choice but to take it. I asked if someone will assist me for the releasing, he said he was alone so he couldn’t assist me. No one else was at the parking to assist me. The Toyota Corolla I got turned out to be a bad performer. The tires were worn out and it struggled going uphill.
I decided to email Authentik Canada and Marie-Chloe promptly replied and advised me to exchange the car as the Corolla is a mid-size vehicle and not a standard size (as she confirmed with Thrifty). She also offered to talk to the Thrifty staff over the phone if I encounter any issue.
Thankfully, when I went back to YVR Thrifty, the staff at that time, Simon, was very friendly and accommodating and made things right, especially when I told him I will be driving to the Rockies. He upgraded my rental to a RAV4 mini SUV and waived the full tank return. The RAV4 performed superbly well especially for my Rockies Trip. Thank you Simon (Thrifty) and Marie-Chloe (Authentik Canada). I would highly recommend getting your services through AC.

Excelent experience
This was the first time que rented a car. The experience was wonderful from the beggining, with full attention from the Thrifty cashier Renne. The explanation was very clear. As our Arrival flight delayed (twice), another car (upgrade) was arranged after 15 minutes waiting. During the Rental time, the only issue was a failure of gas door when filling, but a friend helped and se could open the gas door. We made a call report to the Rental Company. A Pleasant Journey
We book the vehicle with almost half of the market price under the help of Authentik. Moreover, Avis upgrade our car to Suburban. We had a great trip for the past two weeks.

New car - no problems but do your home work re. insurances
Generally very satisfied with Autentik who made all the reservations. but felt pushed at the Thrifty pick-up couter to accept and pay expensive for extra insurances that genuinely probably are not needed - as far as we subsequently have been informed about.

No hassle car rental
Allyson at Authentik did a great job organising my car rental with Thrifty and kept me informed at all stages. The Authentik web site contains very useful travel information which was extremely useful. Thrifty were very efficient and offered an upgrade to a larger car with sat nav, for less than usual fee for Sat nav, which I accepted. No hassle return all sorted in 5 mins. Good Services but Hidden Charges
Overall I was provided with very new car and was in really good condition. Thanks to Thrifty for that. However before booking always check on all these costly other hidden charges, like car return charges (if point of return is diff city) or airport premium service charges or additional insurance charges etc.
Unexpected additional Charges and dirty Car
We had to pay a drop off charge which was not obvious in the offer, only later in the confirmation.
The car we received was quite dirty from the inside, especially the back seats were covered with dogs hairs
7 days rental for road trips in eastern Canada
Perfect.
When I looked for a car rental service they were all very confusing and the final price was not clear. Authentik Canada made it all very simple, I knew exactly what I had to pay, what documents I needed to bring to the car agency.
I got upgraded to a VW Golf at no extra cost. Drove 2800km in 7 days, for 165€ + 32€ (<25 fee), definitely worth it.
My only complain is that this service is only available for Canada.

Very well organised and efficient car rentals in three locations organised from Australia.
Marie-Chloé emailed a suggestion that we should adjust our pickup times due to our flights. Great service not just blindly processing our requests. Authentik Canada also organised a refund for our last car hire section when we had to return to Australia due to a medical emergency at home.
Thrifty were efficient and helpful at pickup and drop off.

Everything was easy and well managed.
The car was bigger than the one we requested, but it is not the first time for me, renting by Avis. Anyway. in Canada the roads are wide and we found car parking easily everywhere. The service has been good since the first mail, and for the moment we have no regrets. Hope it wouldn't be a surprise later!
