He was also very rushed since he felt it wasn't necessary for us to read the documents we had to sign, as it might take too long (we were the only customers though). The return wasn't much better. The vehicle was returned to the Avis booth in the parking lot. No hello from the agent, just orders: "park there, put the keys there". He even questioned the fact that the gas tank had been filled. We had to show him the gas station receipt and the time noted on it. But even then he continued to deny it (moreover, I had a 24 euro charge on my credit card upon my return to France, with no explanation as to the reason). No documents provided, no return confirmation. We might as well have given the keys to some guy in the parking lot as far as we know.
