Dream destinations
Car Tour of the Canadian Rockies Round trip from Vancouver
We were very pleased with the organisation of our trip by Authentik Cananda. We chose a large SUV for 4 adults as we did have quite a bit of luggage after having previously been in Alaska. We had booked 4 star hotels. Just a couple were below average particularly the Village Suites in Whistler and probably the Accent Inn in Kelowna. Breakfasts were included for at least 6 of the hotels. In hindsight it would've been easier to have breakfasts included every morning. The self drive road trip was magnificent and we were so glad to be driving rather than being on a tour. The highlights were Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper National Park. These highlights included the Gondola in Banff, the Columbia Icefield and sightings of bears, mountain sheep and moose along the side of the road. All in all it was an epic trip. The grandiose Rockies were unbelievable and will be etched in our memories forever. The downside was between Jasper and Whistler and then onto Victoria as it was quite rushed and we could've done with a few more days to explore these areas a little more. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the trip. [...]
Beautiful Western Canada
We wanted to visit western Canada but had no idea how to choose our hotels. Authentik made it so easy. We told them where we wanted to go and how many days we had and they did the rest.

Great way to see BC and Alberta in a short time
A great itinerary, well thought out and a wonderful introduction to this beautiful region. Documentation was faultless and suggestions included within greatly appreciated. Even though the weather did not always co-operate we thoroughly enjoyed our trip through this region and look forward to seeing more of Canada in the future.
Canadian adventure
We chose Authentik after finding them on the internet. We were apprehensive at first but independent checks on a few of the hotels and service providers assured us they were genuine. Josée our travel rep was great with her response times and suggestions. We made a few alterations which Josee handled very efficiently. Although we printed vouchers etc before we left Australia, on arrival at our first hotel in Vancouver,we were presented with detailed portfolio of our trip. It included the vouchers, complete point to point driving directions, things to do see and places to eat in all our destinations. An excellent map, Canada road rules were also included. We would definitely use Authentik again perhaps to do a tour of the eastern provinces. We would like to hear from couples who took the motor home option as the only negative would unpacking suitcases all the time. We chose the car option because it gave us options that a large truck would not [...]

Autotour in the Rockies with the family
(Translated by Google) Excellent preparation thanks to AUTENTIK CANADA and its very complete "road book" (+ application). A special mention for car rental with unbeatable value for money! No problem booking accommodation. Some Hotels, however, said they were surprised by the vouchers they could not find on the computer (to be checked).
A special mention for our "little cabin" in Canada at "Mike Wiegele" in Blue River. Beware of reservations for the ferry to VICTORIA if you are constrained by the schedules! The fires narrowly spared us even in KELOWNA.

Victoria.
(Translated by Google) There is a small downside for the ferry, you should specify a few days before the end of the trip in the roadbook that the reservation is very important because we waited 3 hours for boarding. Luckily the temperature was not too hot because no air conditioning. in the hotel in Victoria. To do Whistler and Victoria in 2 days is really too short considering the time to cross, impossible to visit without arriving too late for the return to Vancouver. Other than that, everything was perfect. Thank you Tanya [...]
wonderful journey
SUBLIME LANDSCAPES
(Translated by Google) Road trip destination the Rockies, well-located hotels such as Vancouver (Coast coal harbor Hotel) and Victoria (Grand Pacific Hotel) you can do everything on foot, magnificent accommodations with splendid views in Okanagan (Manteo Resort) and Lake Louise (Emerald lake lodge)
the seaplane flight, the cruise on the malignant lake and the boat trip to see the whales and sea lions were sublime and magnificent moments with the added bonus of splendid landscapes
Downside in Whistler hotel well placed but room with very very noisy air conditioning and the word is weak and in Wells Gray Park accommodation 40 minutes from Clearwater the road to access it is not paved so provide a suitable vehicle and provide dinner for the evening
Lots of miles and some stages can be skipped like Revelstoke and staying an extra night in Lake Louise
Attention, the ferry to go to the island of Victoria and the entrances to the parks are at your expense
The covid has been there and therefore many restaurants and shops close at 6:00 p.m. you have to take this into account everywhere, even in the big cities.

Good planning and prior research
(Translated by Google) There are a lot of tours or activities available in Western Canada. Discussions with your advisor, the documents available on your website and our personal research have enabled us to establish a good program before our departure.
Back in the West, the Roadbook, the tourist information on the spot and our notes taken during our research allowed us to make choices adapted to our preferences. We missed a few points of interest but it would have taken us 4 weeks to see more. At the start of the trip, we were early in the season. In the national parks several trails or visits were closed. Risk of avalanche and presence of heavy snow. The conservation officers suggested other open and interesting trails (Revelstoke National Park and Glacier National Park and Yoho National Park).
We visited most of the places you recommended in the Roadbook and tried a few restaurants that suited our schedule and our tastes. We didn't go to the more expensive places because we were more interested in the small restaurants with a particular character (eg Patricia Street Deli; Wild Flour Banff's artisan Bakery Café).
A disappointment: the road plans were not in the paper Roadbook. It's a bit my fault, I should have switched on before leaving Montreal. They were all in the computerized Roadbook. I could have consulted them earlier. Why should I use these plans? It was to know the stages of the journeys, where are the rest stops and/or the possible activities between 2 stages. Often we visited a place and arrived at our hotel later but it was our choice. (ex. between Lake Louise and Calgary, we would have put the Johnston Cayon / ex. between Revelsoke and Lake Louise we put the Wapta fall because the Takakkaw fall was closed).
Speaking of hotels, we had a wide variety of categories and we were aware of it. As I wrote we arrived late and spent more time on the trails than in our rooms. There is the Jasper hotel which was really far from everything. The Hotel du Lac Louise really disappointed us.
A note: for the activities it was advisable to confirm our presence 24 hours in advance. You could add a note for ferries. Important to reserve them up to 72 hours in advance.
Thanks to Marie-Ève for her services and advice.

Discovery of Western Canada
(Translated by Google) The best of Western Canada in 2 weeks are grandiose landscapes, the discovery of wildlife, national parks, the cities of Vancouver and Calgary.
It is also a lot of road (+3200km). So it is better to take a good car and be ready to spend hours there.
The highlights? Jasper and Banff with the famous glacier route. The whales seen from the ferry to go to Victoria.

UNFORGETTABLE !!!
(Translated by Google) Our trip was titled "DREAM DESTINATIONS" and that's what we lived for 14 days.
We are very happy with our choice and we can only recommend "AUTHENTIK CANADA"
On arrival at our hotel, as agreed, the roadbook was waiting for us as well as the GPS for the car (which, by the way, was very useful to us since the destinations were all recorded.

A wonderful trip
(Translated by Google) We traveled nearly 3000 km through different landscapes depending on the region and just as magnificent as the others, the accommodation was of high quality.
Travel to Western Canada
(Translated by Google) Everything was well planned from taking possession of the car to booking hotel rooms.

Super pays
(Translated by Google) Very beautiful country, Canadians are very welcoming

very well organized.
(Translated by Google) Everything was perfect, however the Day's Inn in Revelstoke was ordinary, room in need of renovation, cleanliness ok and the spa was not functional.
But everything else was perfect for us.

Our only disappointment: The weather!
(Translated by Google) Our first regret is perhaps to have left a little late in the season (from September 24 to October 10) because we were very cold in Calgary, Banff (with 30 cm of snow that fell overnight) and especially in Jasper (-12° the first morning). The 2nd regret is the famous glacier route that we were waiting for with great impatience and where in the end it was the worst day of the trip (7 hours to cover 250 km on snow and in the fog!) a real nightmare!
All the hotels chosen were very correct with a downside for the Accent Inn in Kelowna and the Century Plaza in Vancouver (both very very noisy)
Regarding the organization of the trip we would have 1 important remark: one night would have been enough in Kelowna and Calgary, on the other hand Banff and Victoria would have deserved 2 nights in each city (especially Victoria!).
Nevertheless, we will keep a great memory of this trip and a multitude of images and memories engraved in our memory!

Western Canada: exotic
(Translated by Google) Marie-Pascale guided us well for the construction of our road trip. The road book is very well done and the availability of the GPS is a real plus, especially since everything is pre-recorded in it! The reservations were ok, no surprises on arrival in the accommodation, remember to have breakfast confirmed anyway if you benefit from it because sometimes the host/ess forgets that it was specified.
We had rented the vehicle on our own as well as the purchase of plane tickets.
On the other hand, we were disappointed by a few hotels where we stayed... outdated, poorly insulated rooms, often badly placed in the hotel, noisy air conditioning...
We strongly advise against staying at Lake Louise, very popular with tourists, the hotels are overpriced and not modern. With my partner we could not even sleep in the same bed at the Deer Lodge! An awful bathroom, no TV, no kettle, a 90cm bed and a 120cm bed etc. for an astronomical sum. On Jasper, the hotel could have suited us if our room hadn't been under the restaurant and facing the laundry room, we didn't sleep a night and no staff was available during the night.
Apart from these two establishments which marked us negatively, we were rather well placed, the breakfasts very correct.
For our part, we would have spent one more night in Banff and Rivelstoke to take full advantage of it, and rather make a quick trip to Kelowna which must be more interesting in the middle of summer. Try to find accommodation closer to Clearwater than Blue River to avoid driving too far to see the waterfalls.
Otherwise everything is very well indicated on the roads (tourist places, parking space, rest, and viewpoints not to be missed). We have favored pubs to eat, we eat well, in nice and very different atmospheres: "Whistle stop pub" in Jasper, "The Village Idiot bar and Grill" in Rivelstoke, "The Canadian", The Lamplighter" and the "flying pig" in Vancouver, "Park Distillery" in Banff etc.
An exotic trip that will leave us with beautiful images if you like lakes and mountains, it's not to be missed!

very good organization
(Translated by Google) We really liked our experience but for 2 weeks it would have been better to settle for a little less km: either really stay in the Rockies longer, or stay on Vancouver Island.
The organization for the accommodation was perfect and we had a very very good service. I recommend this agency.
Destination Discovery in Western Canada
(Translated by Google) Very good organization of the trip.
Authentic Canada interlocutor very available and efficient.
Hotels up to our expectations except that of Clearwater (step in Kamloops would have been preferable).
As far as the Hôtel de Victoria is concerned, a single room would have been sufficient (sleeps 6 in 2 rooms for 4 adults)...
No bears seen on the photo safari but the lake and speedboat ride was well worth it.
Stay of 2 weeks tainted by the smoke coming from the forest fires. Sometimes panorama not visible.
We remain on our hunger concerning the magic of the landscapes... but these conditions are not the fault of the tour operator.

we are very happy with our trip
unforgettable country
(Translated by Google) The road trip planned by Authentik Canada was great! Every drop point is beautiful! The route is varied between cities such as Vancouver. Calgary or Victoria and between Jasper, Banff and other national parks. We hiked in places all more splendid than each other. Canadians are very welcoming and helpful. The only towns that we found less interesting were Clearwater and Revelstoke. But it cuts the road.
All the hotels booked by the agency were well located and of good quality. The road book was very useful to us.

An unforgettable trip
(Translated by Google) Everything went perfectly well and the organization was impeccable. So we were able to serenely enjoy the magnificent landscapes of western Canada. Thank you for everything.
A very nice road trip in Western Canada
(Translated by Google) We chose the dream destination trip and çit was; a great experience. Western Canada is magnificent, nature is truly preserved. We were just looking to; spend two weeks away from the noise and excitement of the cities and it was a total success.
Recommended for people who love hiking for all the possibilities offered by national and regional parks!

Très belle expérience
(Translated by Google) For a first visit to Western Canada, it was a great experience. Authentik Canada was able to organize a tour for us in the Rockies and back to Vancouver, 15 days of nature, walks, grandiose landscapes; a very big thank you.Very complete travel guide, just one downside, why put activities that are no longer relevant? because too late in the season?
Travel to the height of our expectations both in terms of the choice of stages and that of accommodation.
(Translated by Google) Although all the steps are of interest, here is:
our Plus: Banff and Jasper (towns and parks)
our Minus: the cities of Kelowna and Clearwater
Excellent service from Authentik Canada during the preparation of the trip: efficiency; and very good reactivity. We feel confident. Lots of information to be found. available through systematically communicated Internet links.
No worries during the trip.

Très belle expérience
(Translated by Google) The principle of visiting a country by rental car and changing region every 2 to 4 years. 3 days remains for me the best way
to see as many things as possible. With Authentik Canada everything went well;
The trip was very well prepared. A Gps pre-programmed the hotels booked. the recommendations for interesting visits were correct.
15 days of carefree fun

As advertised !
(Translated by Google) Apart from the more than surprising arrival (no GPS at the hotel, no road book or vouchers!!!!), the rest of the trip was very satisfying.
Travel in accordance with; all our expectations
(Translated by Google) The itinerary chosen allowed us to have a very good overview of this part of western Canada. Very good balance between the wide open spaces of the Rockies and the metropolises of Vancouver, Calgary and Victoria.
The book delivered to the arrival is complete. The hotels selected are of good quality; and well located.
Truly a dream destination
(Translated by Google) We loved it. the landscapes, the fauna so easily visible, the ice walk between Banff and Jasper, Victoria, ... (non-exhaustive list).
We didn't like it. the long, interminable road between Clearwater and Whistler, especially in its very very winding and stressful mountainous part for an occasional driver. Because of this long journey, we were not able to fully enjoy our stage at; Whistler.
