Our trip was excellent and beautiful! Most of the hotels were comfortable and provided everything we needed , but we have a couple of constructive comments where things did not quite come up to expectations.

At Sundance Ranch the tap water was not drinkable but they were very good providing bottled drinking water stations, and there was no lack. Unfortunately at Helmcken Falls Lodge, similarly the tap water was not drinkable but they only supplied water in 500ml bottles and some of the staff were reluctant to provide sufficient of these. Also, at this venue there was no air conditioning or fans, so we suffered a bit in the restaurant in the unexpectedly warm weather in July (>30C).

The only other small glitch was that Authentic had switched our accommodation in Banff, and although they told us, we had downloaded an old version of the Road Book without this update. There was a little confusion on arrival, but this was soon resolved.

All in all a fanastic holiday - thank you Fanny for your help and advice! We would not hesitate to use Authentic in the future :-) [...]
