Quick and friendly service
Had no problems with Avis at Kelowna airport. Didn’t push to sell other services. Car was clean and ready to go on time. Will use again.
Ok value for money!
On arrival, we had to queue over 1 hour in the collection centre in 30C with no air con. Then didn't get the car we paid for but was offered what seem to be a downgrade. So we paid for a Hyundai Elentra but got a Hyundai Venue (Compact). That might have been a blessing though. The washer fluid ran out after a few days and the car air con didn't work properly. Suspension was terrible although I must admit Quebec roads are terrible. Apart from that, the car was ok. Oh! and one tire had over 10 psi over the recommended pressure. [...]

Helpful man on the counter who did not use hard sell for additional services. I already knew what I was going to purchase. He explained everything clearly and patiently when I asked questions.

Excellent experience. Easy pick up and drop off at both airports. Car in good condition. No issues over the 2 weeks we hired it. Staff friendly and helpful. Would use them again. Highly recommended.
Road trip
Great experience with authentik - easy booking and good value options on our car. Exactly what we wanted for our three week trip around BC. Only slight grumble was the service from Avis which is usually v reliable. The car had a couple of defects which we resolved but should have been spotted before we set off

Fantastic and smooth experience
Excellent and smooth rental process. The car practically drove itself through the over 2k road trip we made with it. My next car will be a Ford Explorer with cruise control!
I would definitely recommend both Alamo and Authentik Canada who guided me through finding a rental company from Australia. And also the intermediate SUV

Above and Beyond
Really impressed by AuthentikCanada - made our Avis car hire simple, stress-free and a very smooth experience. The free spouse-driver was a bonus, and thank you for the unexpected upgrade on the car as it was my birthday. Great experience, won’t hesitate to use again next time we go to North America.
3 week roadtrip
The pick up at the Airport was fast and easy. The car was the right size for our purpose, roadtrip with a tent. We had some space to dry our tent on the backseat after the rainy days and still enough space in the trunk.
We needed roadside asssistance due to a screw in the tire. Unfortunately it mixed up our scedule for the evening, since we would have made it only 10 minutes after closing time in the evening to the next rental car branch office. Therefore we had to rearrange our booking for the night to get the tire fixed the next morning, which was quite fast and without paperwork on our side.
At the end of the trip, we could also delay the return of the car without any problems or extra fees for a couple hours, since our flight got move to the late afternoon.

Had to wait 2 hours for car to become available
Okay, it was a bank holiday in Quebec, but having to wait almost 2 hours for our vehicle was unacceptable - they just didn't have sufficient returning vehicles and all the Hertz ones that stood idle were for their 'Gold Customers' - Dollar/Thrifty are apparently wholly owned by Hertz and have their vehicle bays right next to each other so we could see the dozen plus cars standing unused. The employee dealing with us was clearly harassed but also not very apologetic either - kind of 'tough, that's life' attitude. To be fair however, the vehicle we got was fine and the return process was very simple and quick. [...]
Happy with Service and Price!
We booked our car rental through Authentik to pick up and return our car at Halifax airport. All went smoothly and the price was much less than booking direct with the rental companies or with a search engine like Expedia! I highly recommend Authentik and will be using them for my next trip!

Flawless Checkin
Check in (and check out) was flawless and we were on the road in 10 minutes, Ohh except for the part where the engine didn't seem to start, no one told me it was a silent Hybrid . Everything else was a non event which is exactly the way you want a car hire to be, no problems. I did however see on the last day that there was no spare tyre. Must have been runflats ? but glad I didn't have to find out. [...]

Hiring a car through Authentik was very simple and straightforward and whilst it was via Thrifty the rate charged was cheaper than going direct to Thrifty. They also provided good advice on what extras we would be offered at the hire desk and suggestions on which should and shouldn't be considered. Overall a seamless experience and would use again.
Thrifty were very helpful upon pickup and did not push the additional options but were clear in what they were. A 15 minute wait on pick up for the car to be ready. Car was very clean with a full tank of fuel and had android auto so no need for a sat nav. Drop off in Calgary was very quick and less than a 5 minute walk into the terminal.

We had to queue for quite a long time at pickup in Calgary but we had a new car and it was problem free. The drop off point at Vancouver was easy to find and we received good service there.

Excellent Service
We were visiting Canada from the UK and decided to rent a car as we were touring around and visiting family. I did an internet search and had a good price quoted by Authentik Canada. I look at the rates and found them to be excellent as they included everything I needed (full insurance with zero deductible etc.) at no extra cost , which meant I did not have to mess around when collecting the car.
After booking I had a couple of questions which were answered very quickly and gave the information required. I did also decide to upgrade the car which was done quickly and efficiently.
Overall the service from Authentik Canada was exceptional and I have no hesitation in recommending then to others for car hire as a minimum. Whilst visiting family we looked at the other services Authentik offered and they all said they looked very good and were competitively priced.

We cannot express any better service than our Car rental through Authentik and Thrifty car rentals.
The procedure through Authentik was simple and easy to organise. They offered “Included” items that were extras with other rental companies.
