During your excursion, you will get off on Meares Island to visit a grove of giant cedars, one of which is more than 2,000 years old! Upon your return, your guide will introduce you to First Nations culture and an authentic Nuu-chah-nulth village.

* During this guided excursion, you will explore the sheltered inlets that border the ancient forest of Clayoquot Sound. You will also get off on Meares Island to visit a grove of giant cedars, one of which is more than 2,000 years old! * The price includes a kayak rental (single or tandem) and the necessary equipment, a guide and the applicable taxes.
* The price of your activity includes a contribution of $3 per person to support marine wildlife and forest ecosystem research and education in Clayoquot Sound.
* Beginners are welcome!
* You will be asked to pay a trail fee of $3 per person (cash) on behalf of Tla-o-qui-aht Tribal Park.
