Western conquest
Wonderful trip from Calgary to Vancouver
(Translated by Google) Circuit of 3 big weeks through the superb national parks of Banff and Jasper in particular, from Calgary to the Pacific coast with the island and the city of Vancouver. A perfectly well designed and organized circuit with the sound advice and support of Authentik Canada! To recommend without hesitation...

Truly exotic and authentic trip
(Translated by Google)
Between the beauty of a new city VANCOUVERT and the wide open spaces of the Rockies, this trip was really very exotic.
Despite 3 hours at sea we did not see the Orcas up close in Victoria....
Very good responsiveness from Elise following our cancellation of our stay at TOFINO Pacific Rim
A few small details to improve to further optimize the satisfaction of the trip.
Be more specific about the meeting place for access to the Athabasca glacier.
Be careful to warn of the duration of the transfer from Toronto center to Niagara Falls (namely 2 hours to go and 2 hours to return for a 20-minute cruise .....) The Holiday Inn in Toronto not great .....

Very nice holiday beautiful landscapes
A dream come true with Authentik Canada
(Translated by Google) We had always dreamed of discovering Western Canada. Booked in March 2020 just before the 1st confinement, and therefore postponed twice, we finally made this dream come true in September 2022 with Authentik Canada.
We had never doubted their ability to deal with this serious health crisis. This is why, against all odds, we maintained our reservation.
Already in September 2014, our adviser Marie-Michèle had concocted a road trip in Quebec that had turned out to be up to our expectations.
This time, Marie Michèle “did it again” because this road trip went exactly as we had dreamed. From the Pacific Ocean to the Rockies, we saw landscapes of great diversity and incredible splendor, especially on the glacier route. All our accommodations were at the top, ideally located and everywhere the welcome of the Canadians was particularly cordial. No problem to report either with the car that was rented to us for a very reasonable price.
The only regret, which we really cannot attribute to Authentik Canada, is the seaplane flight over the mountains in Whistler, which was canceled due to bad weather and which we were immediately refunded.
Today, we are pleased to have once again trusted Authentik Canada and Marie-Michèle. Our dream came true but we still continue to dream… to go back.

Wonderful trip to western Canada
(Translated by Google) One of the most beautiful trips of our life. The West Coast is absolutely beautiful! From the Pacific Ocean to the Rockies, these are 15 days of guaranteed postcards. The pace of the stay with 2 nights at each stage is really pleasant because we really had time to enjoy every moment and take our time to do what we wanted around. The activities were all great. We haven't come down from our cloud yet! [...]
An exceptional journey of discovery of Western Canada
(Translated by Google) We are delighted with the progress of this trip, not so much the beauty and diversity of the landscapes as by the welcome in the various accommodations and activities. Unforgettable memories for the whole family.
Vancouver Island is exceptional from the crossing from Vancouver, we spent 4 very busy and diversified days between Victoria and Pacific Rim, and this island certainly deserves a longer stay.
The rest of the journey on the mainland is also exciting, the nature and the local fauna have delighted us.
A special mention for the lakes, including a day spent boating on Clearwater and Azure lakes, an activity that we highly recommend. Small disappointment for Lake Louise, because of the people there, fortunately its neighbor Lake Moraine was much more pleasant. Remember to book the shuttle in advance for these two lakes, otherwise access is quite difficult by car during the summer period,
The distances on such a 17-day trip are certainly sometimes long, but are done without great stress, the fact of staying 2 nights on several sites allowing to have a whole day on site for other activities.
Accommodation in apartments or chalets in Victoria, Ucluelet and then Jasper were very welcoming and made it possible to alternate with more traditional hotels. No false note that said in all the accommodations visited, and special mentions for the Black Rock Oceanfront Resort in Ucluelet, Miette Cabins in Jasper and the Post Hotel in Lake Louise.
In conclusion, congratulations to the Authentik team for having proposed and adapted this course to our wishes, for having persevered in booking the accommodations that we preferred, and for being receptive with effective and relevant communication.

Road Trip - Western Canada
(Translated by Google) Very very nice trip. Hotels very well located; close to everything. Vancouver and Calgary: very well located hotels... Everything was done on foot. Enjoyed everything. Thanks a lot!
An incredible journey that exceeds expectations
(Translated by Google) 14 incredible days in Western Canada. Everything seems very bland when we return home... The landscapes are crazy wherever we are, everything is preserved, no litter lying around, whether in the cities or in nature...
First step in Vancouver where everything seems very "big", Stanley Park is a must. The city of Victoria is also a superb stopover, too bad the museum is under construction. We particularly recommend the bear photo safari in the city of Tofino which will have been our best memory (7 black bears encountered in 2h30, including a mother and her "cub"!). The towns and parks of Jasper and Banff are amazing and worth staying there much longer.
Advice to future travellers: book any ferries as soon as possible (several weeks in advance minimum!!) because places are very limited. For example, we missed an activity for lack of a ferry early enough... We must also take into account that in this kind of journey we only stay in the end for a very short time at each stage, so we must maximize our presence time in each town. You should also know that Canadians do not speak French at all in the West. However, the reputation of Canadians in terms of politeness and kindness is absolutely not overrated, a real pleasure on a daily basis. We spend most of our time on mountain roads, even sometimes on unpaved trails to go hiking for example. This is to be taken into account when renting the car, we were upgraded to a jeep wrangler and were very happy to have a 4x4 on many of the roads... Small city type cars are best avoided - although the price is obviously not the same - and gaining peace of mind on the journey.
The whole trip was perfectly organized by Tanya, apart from a small problem with the reservation of one of the hotels (very quickly resolved!) everything went very well with the agency, which was able to remain available to answer our questions, especially on ArriveCan which is a nightmare to complete.
We are already looking for a new trip to the Quebec side!

Very varied and sometimes spectacular landscapes!
(Translated by Google) The roadtrip proposed by Authentik Canada in western Canada allowed us to discover magnificent and sometimes spectacular landscapes such as Lake Peyto and its shape in the shape of a wolf dog and its color, the glacier road, Lake Maligne and of course the very different landscapes and flora of Vancouver Island.
An unforgettable trip !
(Translated by Google) Our patience will have been rewarded, 2 years after our order, thank you COVID19, we have made an exceptional trip. Thank you AUTHENTIK Canada for the good management and follow-up of our file.
2500 km of Road Trip: Vancouver, Pacific Rim, the Rockies… The landscapes were magnificent and varied, we made unexpected and very friendly encounters. Our passage on Vancouver Island will remain etched in our memories, Ucluelet, Wild Pacific Trail, Tofino, tranquility…, but also our stay at the Ranch in Wells Gray Park, the kindness of the hosts, the fauna, flora and waterfalls. Also in our memories, Maligne Lake, Angel Glacier, Athabasca…
Our 15 days were full, no room for idleness.
A big thank you to Marie-Michèle for concocting our tailor-made trip, for our frequent discussions, for her availability, her good humor and her enthusiasm!

A very nice trip in an exceptional setting
(Translated by Google) We spent fifteen days in Western Canada, between Vancouver and Calgary. Everything went very well, both in the preparation of the trip with Caroline, who gave very good advice, and in its progress, especially in the choice of the stages of the route, their number, and in the choice of hotels. we saw a lot of spectacular places and landscapes. Canadians are super nice, whether they are French or English speaking.
Thank you Caroline for the quality of the advice, the sense of service, the kindness and the availability :-)

Magical and Magnificent Road Trip
(Translated by Google) Magnificent, breathtaking landscapes,
A rich and varied fauna
A perfect organization, Marie Michèle knew how to concoct a tailor-made road trip for us and always available
Hospitality not always top notch
Good when booking, much less once there
(Translated by Google) Good points
When preparing for the trip, everything is going very well. Supervision and responsiveness to answer questions is excellent.
The roadbook transmitted is a source of complete information and on various aspects, certainly for someone who has never been to Canada before. A point that could be further developed is the road signs used and their explanation (especially with regard to on-street parking).
On the spot, we are also followed when we have a question or a request and this with a very good reactivity.
The price for the rental car was very competitive compared to what we found in the rest of the market.
Negative points
The estimate is nebulous in terms of prices because no details of the services are transmitted by hotel, type of room... The only way to obtain it is to quibble on the site by adding or removing stages to the itinerary to see the influence on the overall price.
Late cancellation of a reservation which has not been compensated by a proposal of equivalent or superior quality. The responsibility was on the side of Authentik Canada or its partner, and therefore it is up to them to propose a solution even if it costs them more.
Regularly the photos presented on the Authentik Canada site do not correspond to the reality that one meets on the spot and is always in the sense better on the photos than in reality. This is bordering on misleading information and customer deception, and this is not acceptable (cruise ships, hotel rooms, bathrooms, etc.). In the attached photos, we have each time had the boat above, while Authentik Canada only presents the one below.
Many of the hotels we frequented were absolutely not of a quality standard corresponding to the price paid (on average, around 370EUR or 485CAD per night per room for 3 or 4 people). With several of them there was a problem during check-in and the helpfulness was not always there. The rooms were generally small, narrow double beds of 1m40 and poor soundproofing. We never had 2 rooms next to each other even though we booked 8 months in advance
Having to reconfirm excursions when everything is paid in advance and only by phone. You have to remember that as tourists, we don't have a Canadian mobile phone and therefore the costs are high. In addition, when you are on a mountain excursion, you do not always know how to call in the hours when the call is possible (often no network available elsewhere). It would therefore be necessary to have an email address to make this confirmation when it is really necessary (thus, this can be done in the evening at the hotel). If a cancellation is made by the organizer (weather reason…), it is up to him to warn the client (via email) and not the other way around.
Car pick-up at Dollar particularly tedious. If we go through an agency like Authentik Canada, we expect minimal formalities and above all that the rental company does not try to rip us off yet. This was not at all the case.
1. The request for an international permit by the lessor when it is not required according to information from Authentik Canada. The 1st driver had to be the person who booked the trip with Authentik Canada and his credit card was needed as a guarantee. This is totally absurd and not previously mentioned. We were therefore faced with a problem that made us waste a lot of time because the person holding the reservation did not want to drive and therefore be the first driver and what is more did not have an international license.
2. We are still offered additional insurance that we did not ask for, a full tank of gas (because supposedly we will pay much more for gas in Vancouver and even $3.50 at the airport if we forget to fill in… which is completely untrue: we didn't have a difference of more than $0.20 per liter between the most expensive and the least expensive price and there is a gas station 100m before the entrance in the vehicle return area at the airport).
3. Upon delivery of the vehicle, it is impossible to know how much the impact on the windshield that we had during the trip will cost and therefore to have the necessary papers to return this claim to our insurance. The computer system was not available! We will therefore have to wait a week and we should receive this by email.

dream landscapes
(Translated by Google) Well-balanced stages allowing the discovery of the parks visited. Time for beautiful hikes. Small regret not having been a little longer at Wells Gray Park. Quality and pleasant accommodation with the exception of the hotel in Banff (rundlestone lodge).
A trip that will leave us with wonderful memories.
Wonderful family roadtrip in Western Canada
(Translated by Google) After two postponements due to the health situation, we were finally able to discover Western Canada as a family this summer. From Calgary to Vancouver, via Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper, Kamloops, Whistler and Victoria, we were amazed! Splendid and very varied landscapes, hiking, extraordinary activities, encounters, all accompanied by perfect weather: we had an exceptional stay with our three children (20 and 15 years old). Among the activities, the most breathtaking was certainly the glacier flight by seaplane in Whistler. We also really enjoyed the rafting even though we expected to paddle and the package chosen did not allow it. In terms of organizing the trip, thanks to Authentik, everything went wonderfully well. The Roadbook contains all kinds of very useful information relating to activities and hotels as well as to remember to confirm activities in good time. Nothing to complain about in terms of accommodation. They were clean, very well equipped and always well located. We really liked the outdoor setting at Chalets Beckers in Jasper as well as the suite in Whistler with its large kitchen which allowed us to cook like at home. On the way since 2019 with this trip, I would like to thank Marie-Pascale, Marie-Andrée and Caroline (who successively took care of our file) for their availability and advice. I highly recommend Authentik with whom I really enjoyed composing this trip. [...]
Thank you Maryse
(Translated by Google) Thanks to Maryse who took the time to develop our road trip, all in good humor and kindness. Everything went very well. Maryse always responds quickly to emails. I highly recommend.
Almost perfect
(Translated by Google) Great trip, well organized, however the choice of some hotels is questionable.

A well-organized and well-paced roadbook trip.
(Translated by Google) Breathtaking landscapes
Wonderful !
(Translated by Google) Superb trip! There are many beautiful landscapes, turquoise water, mountains and nature. It really is paradise! Authentik Canada allowed us to organize our trip well in order to fully enjoy it!

Whistler Trip
(Translated by Google) We didn't have any problems with anything. Everything was taken care of for us. We just had to show our vouchers and enjoy our time there!
Unforgettable
(Translated by Google) This road trip was for us our first time in Canada
We are not ready to forget it.
A follow-up of our reservations at the top without any disappointment.
And breathtaking landscapes
We will come back to Canada with Authentik for sure

Extraordinary landscapes and wildlife
(Translated by Google) The Canadian Rockies are exceptional in terms of scenery and wildlife encounters. The activities are sometimes disappointing and the choice of hotels needs to be more varied (higher categories, locations, etc.). A major miss from Autentik, not preventing or even offering ferry transfers between Vancouver Island and the mainland, I recommend booking.

perfect hotel booking, quality hotels and well located
(Translated by Google) Useful daily road book for the trip, pleasant and well-located hotels, 14-day traveling trip in a certain serenity.
pay attention to the respect of the agreements with the car rental companies... GPS ordered not provided!
Wonderful road trip
(Translated by Google) Thank you for this fabulous road trip!
We really loved going through the Authentik agency.

Great discoveries
(Translated by Google) A west coast travelage trip from Vancouver to Calgary passing through beautiful regions. Meeting with super nice people who make the effort to speak French and help us on our trip. A superb experience.

Some changes and dde to do but trip to the top!
(Translated by Google) We had a wonderful trip, full of beautiful landscapes and places more beautiful than each other ????
Our "seaplane flight to Whistler" excursion was unfortunately canceled due to bad weather, but we were very happy with the other reservations! We also used a lot of advice noted on the Roadbook, throughout the trip, to know what to visit!
Just had to change schedules that didn't match the travel time, and a hotel that blocked our money on the credit card while Authentik paid them, but the Authentik advisers are very responsive and quickly solve the problems ! ????

Beautiful nature
(Translated by Google) Nature is beautiful in this part of the country but the accommodations chosen were uncomfortable and the choices inadequate for us. I sent the details to the counselor.
Beautiful and unforgettable!!
(Translated by Google) We had a wonderful trip! We received suggestions for hotels that lived up to our expectations and more! Wells Gray Guest Ranch was truly an unforgettable experience that I recommend. My favorites are Stanley Park in Vancouver (visiting Vancouver by bike is really pleasant and more efficient so as not to miss anything). In Victoria not much to do, but a must is the Butchart Gardens, especially for photography lovers! Whistler we did the Vallea Lumina but very ordinary (for children...) However, don't miss Sea to SKY simply WOW!! and the JOFFRE LAKES hike...MAGIC!!
In Jasper the cable car is really beautiful as well as the cruise on Maligne Lake ;))
On the other hand, the glacier walk (we did it without a guide, on foot) interesting but nothing more. I wouldn't pay to walk on the ice. It seems like a tourist trap. The village of Banff is fun, there is a nice bike path and beautiful accessible hikes. We finished in Calgary but not much to do...
I do not recommend the Water's Edge Shoreside Suites hotel in Pacific Rim: it was poorly clean, very old and lacking in love. We are allergic to cats and definitely there were animals before we arrived :(
We called to change hotels but everything was full everywhere. We changed rooms, a little cleaner but no more, and we took benadryl.
