Then we looked for the location of the other hotel, which we located 500 meters away. Meanwhile, we met another couple who had already been waiting for 15 minutes when we arrived.
So I went to find the rental manager at the other hotel.
What was my surprise when I found that the same thing was happening there, but with 5 couples waiting... From here, I called Authentik who did not know what was happening and who promised me to research and solve this.
I called another number that appeared on a sheet left in this other hotel and there a person answered me and told me that she was sending someone immediately.
Back at my pick up location, I noticed that the person in charge of the bar was also trying to reach them to help us. He was promised a manager within 20 minutes.

The manager indeed arrived at 11, huffing and walking past us without greeting or apologizing.
The other couple having arrived before us, we got our car around 11:30 am, but there was no GPS on site, so we still had to accompany them to the second hotel to pick one up.
Result: we were offered a discount on GPS rental for the wait. The discount not being impressive, it was mainly to try to look good and avoid making us moan.
It can happen to have a setback, an employee who is not on duty or who does not show up, but the least you can do is inform the client, because personally, I get away with €60 extra for calls made unnecessarily and my partner had to restart the mobile data to find the location of the other hotel.
