My journey is actually far from being a straight line! Having studied graphic design, I immersed myself in this world for a few years before answering the call of adventure! So, I dropped everything to explore the world and try all sorts of jobs: farming, catering, diving school...until I discovered Authentik. It was after several years on the road that I finally hung up my big adventurer's bag and proudly donned that of a "Digital Nomad"...which, after all, is not much different from the previous one ;)

My Picks and Travel Tips

What is my favorite destination in Canada?

Charlevoix, without hesitation. The spectacular landscapes take you from impressive gorges to sublime mountains, to end up on the edge of the "sea", where the Saint Lawrence River widens. The region is also dotted with villages just as charming as each other, and offering fabulous local products!

A tip for your trip here

Take your time! Distances here are quite substantial, so you want to fully enjoy each of the destinations on your itinerary. Stay more than one night in the same place, and during your long journeys, plan a good day with several stops along the way. There is so much to discover!

What is my favorite season in Canada?

Autumn! The temperature is still pleasant enough for outdoor activities, and the colors are simply fantastic! Moreover, the more frequent rainy days are a good excuse to stay cozy at home with a hot drink.

What souvenir to bring back from your trip here?

The world of small craftsmen has flourished so much here over the past few years, that I believe any item made right here in Canada is a wonderful souvenir to take home. Plus, it supports Canadian businesses!

Don't forget to pack in your luggage:

Clothes for all seasons! Here, it's best to dress in layers, as the temperature can vary greatly not only from one day to the next but from hour to hour!

What is my dream trip?

I have been immensely lucky to accomplish several of my dream trips. One that still tops my list, however, is to hike the entire Pacific Crest Trail, a trail that spans the entire west coast of the United States, from Mexico to Canada. I believe I still have a few years ahead of me to achieve this crazy dream!
