My Picks and Travel Tips

What is my favorite destination in Canada?

Perce and the Bonaventure Island. The inhabitants of Perce and their magnificent accent, fishing on the pier or by boat, diving with the seals around the Bonaventure Island and the majestic inhabitants of this island; the Northern Gannets. I love going to the Perce pier in the early morning, discussing with fishermen about their successful or unsuccessful fishing. We always end up talking about everything and nothing around a pot emitting fish scents.

A tip for your trip here

Unlike many countries in the world, it is easy to have real human contacts with the people of the country. Do not hesitate to get in touch and start a conversation with local people. They will appreciate your interest and will have a lot to tell you!

What is my favorite season in Canada?

Spring. I love the frenzy of spring. It's as if we had hibernated all winter in our cottages and at the first melting of snow under a strong ray of sunshine, we all decide to go out at the same time and fill the terraces to reinvent the world over a pint of beer!

What souvenir to bring back from your trip here?

Email addresses of people met during your trip! And above all, use them to keep in touch!

Don't forget to pack in your luggage:

a good bottle of wine to share with the people you meet '’a wine is never as good as the person with whom you drink it!’'

What is my dream trip?

A family trip where we would take the time to live in each visited place. A kind of immersion that would make us be, for a moment, inhabitants of the places. No matter where, there are as many places to discover as there are inhabitants on this planet!
