It was in Croatia where I first tasted backpacking and caught the travel bug. And once my studies were completed and money saved, I set off towards South America without a return ticket. From deserts to glaciers, from the rainforest to high mountains, I was able to immerse myself in different cultures, meet incredible people, and have experiences that changed the way I am and see the world. My wanderings then took me to Europe, the USA, and finally to Canada, where I found in Montreal a city where I want to settle, a city of human scale, dynamic and so close to nature and vast spaces.

My Picks and Travel Tips

What is my favorite destination in Canada?

The Gaspésie and its numerous parks. With a preference for the Bic Park and the Coulee campsite, at the foot of the Saint Lawrence. Beautiful sunset and tranquility assured. The road itself is incredible, cross villages, landscapes, taste the local gastronomy, the hospitality, and above all the air.

A tip for your trip here

Leave your assumptions at home and come to fully enjoy your trip in this wonderful country. And it can’t be said enough, be mindful of the distances.

What is my favorite season in Canada?

The 4 seasons of course! What a pleasure to have such distinct seasons. It feels like living multiple lives. In winter, dress warmly, enjoy the snow and winter sports. In spring, admire nature coming back to life and people coming out of hibernation. Summer is incredible, it's so beautiful, and there's so much to do. And in autumn, it’s a burst of colors in the forests. In short, something to please everyone.
