Passionate about travel from a young age, I left France alone in 2011 to try a first experience abroad. I moved to England to improve my english, then flew to Switzerland where I met my partner, with whom we share a common passion for travel. Our passion led us to visit around twenty countries, in several of which we stayed for some time to immerse ourselves in the culture and way of life. Among all these countries, our favorite was Canada; it's here that we felt at home and decided to start our family. Based in Western Canada for over 6 years now, residing between Whistler and Vancouver, I have been able to explore British Columbia and Alberta, and even had the chance to return to the places I loved so much a few times. I realize every day how lucky I am to call Canada my home, and to live my Canadian dream every day.

My Picks and Travel Tips

What is my favorite destination in Canada?

It is quite difficult for me to choose a favorite destination in Canada, but if I had to pick one, it would probably be the Rockies. There are so many things to discover; the landscapes are magnificent and you can often cross paths with a brown bear or another wild animal just by driving around.

A tip for your trip here

Take your time, and don't try to see too much in a short period. Let's be honest, it also gives us a great reason to come back and explore a new region!

What is my favorite season in Canada?

Summer is probably my favorite season; many people associate Canada with cold weather, but Canadian summers are particularly beautiful, warm, and full of activities to explore during this time.

What souvenir to bring back from your trip here?

It might be a bit cliché (or even totally cliché!), but a nice bottle of maple syrup. Personally, I also bring back a sticker from every place I've visited.

Don't forget to pack in your luggage:

A good camera and a small backpack that can follow you everywhere.

What is my dream trip?

After a recent trip to Tokyo, my dream would be to return to Japan, explore the country more deeply, and taste all the culinary specialties of each region.
