Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer
Hello, my name is Cam-Thi, I am of Vietnamese origin, my hometown is Saigon (currently Ho-Chi-Minh city). My Vietnamese first name means a beautiful poem embroidered on silk. In Vietnam, I was a French teacher. I studied university in Letters and French Literature in Vietnam and France. I obtained a Master's degree in Language Sciences in France. When I settled in Canada, I had to adapt to the Canadian job market so I turned to accounting and finance, a field in which I am also very interested. I really like music, science, beaches, and sports (especially swimming and figure skating). I like the city of Montreal where I am now well settled and where I have made very good Quebecois and "international" friends. I consider Montreal my second hometown.

My Picks and Travel Tips

What is my favorite destination in Canada?

I haven't had the chance to travel much in Canada yet. But I love all the places where I've spent my holidays, like Toronto, Niagara Falls, The Laurentians, Quebec City, Ottawa. There are always beautiful, new, and interesting things to discover: the people, the culture, the incredibly beautiful nature, the monuments, the museums, etc. My next planned destination will be in Western Canada. I want to discover the whole country.

A tip for your trip here

The climate in Canada is very "capricious", it changes rapidly. So, it's always best to have a sweater, a pullover, or a windbreaker in your backpack... A GPS is essential because Canada is huge, and it's easy to get lost...

What is my favorite season in Canada?

I like two seasons: winter and autumn. For winter, although it's cold, you can do a lot of outdoor activities, like skiing, ice skating on a lake, snow sliding... In autumn, the climate is mild and the leaves change color: red, yellow, brown, it creates perfect panoramic paintings of nature.
