Legendary splendour
A perfect road trip
The itinerary was more or less spot on. The only change I’d make would be to ignore the Lake Louise stop and add another day to Banff - this was because of it being difficult to park at the lake and Moraine Lake doesn’t take vehicles so we had to pre book a bus. I have to add it’s no criticism of any accommodation The excursions were great and communication with our contact, Alyssa, couldn’t have been better. All in all a great trip and have no hesitation in booking with Authentik Canada again [...]
From Sea to the mountains
We under took a 23 day tour of BC Rockies by car. In a clock wise direction we went from VC to VC island, then up to Whistler, Jasper , Banff ..
All the booking were honored, the accomodations was considered to be medium. Mostly were well positioned and central.
The only remote accommodation was in Revelstoke.
Unfortunately the weather was polluted by smoke from the bush fires, which made the scenic aspect of our tour less than impressive.

GREAT Canada !
There are many travel agencies, but for sure we chose the best one with Authentik Canada ! Susyane was of great help, alsways available for all our question.
We liked the way we could start for an existing roadmap, and add or remove a day where we wanted. The fact that one can then chose between different hotels/lodges/... is very nice. The proposed stayovers were all perfect.
The received roadbook after completion of the reservations was a great help is preparing the trip.

Great trip, that was very well organised.
Our Tour organiser, Fanny, did a wonderful job and provided answers to our questions promptly. She was available for Zoom conversations and had our requests updated quickly. Authentic Tours supply a comprehensive tour book that includes tips and hints, that were invaluable and well presented. It includes maps, restaurant recommendations, places to note as well as local sites that we shouldn't miss.
Canada had many fires whilst we were there, that made part of our trip cut off. Fanny got in touch and had recommendations for alternative spots to visit on Vancouver Island. We took her advice and stayed in Telegraph Cove, which was very beautiful and relaxing. Again Fanny had our interests at heart.

An amazing trip, organised by lovely people.
An unforgettable trip through British Columbia and Alberta. Thank you Authentik for all your organization and support, especially through covid delays.
Help for out bucket list
Authentik Canada’s help in organising our road trip was invaluable. Their suggested stops, number of nights and accommodation choices were great. The guide book and vouchers worked brilliantly, especially the inclusion of the national parks pass (which i hadn’t thought about). Huge thanks to Karolane for looking after us and making our bucket list trip so easy. [...]
Rocky mountains from Vancouver
Fantastic country and very well organized trip
Great
Three lovely weeks i Canada - all booked and arranged by Authentik to almost perfection.
Would definitely use again.
(Translated by Google) We are 2 fairly anxious people and your "Splendors of the West" itinerary convinced us and we were not disappointed! The car, the hotels, the activities, everything was "top-notch." The booklet followed us all along and we consulted it. It reassured us as well as the follow-up from our agent Véronique Blanchette.
We highly recommend it!
Our 3 favorites? : canoeing on Lake Louise, photo safari on Blue River and sea kayaking in Tofino!
Our lemon awards (minor drawbacks): Waiting for the car (very busy) at the Avis counter and the hotel in Vancouver, well located for Stanley Park but less well-maintained than the others.

Unique experience, fabulous trip, perfect organization
(Translated by Google) Authentik Canada helped us plan our trip to Western Canada (Program: "Pinch me, I dream"). Everything was just perfect: easy and flexible planning, efficient and clear communication, competitive prices for cool and unique places / accommodation, super responsive and efficient support during the trip.
We couldn't have done this alone.
On top of that, the trip was absolutely beautiful (Vancouver, Oakanagan, Banff, Jasper, Wells Gray, Whistler, VC island). An address to highly recommend!

Road Trip 09/22 in Western Canada
(Translated by Google) We left Vancouver, Vancouver Islands with the famous 3-night excursion to Knight Inlet Lodge (extraordinary place to meet grizzly bears and beautiful landscapes), the charming city of Victoria, the beautiful Butchart Garden, the Pacific Rim and the typical small port of Telegraph Cove which allowed us to see whales, dolphins, other animals but unfortunately we did not see the killer whales. Then we continued on the continent, Whistler, Wells Gray Park where we slept in the park in a bucolic place "Wells Gray Guest Ranch" then direction Alberta: Jasper, magnificent region - Lake Louise, its beautiful lakes - Banff, magnificent resort on a human scale and the final Calgary airport. After 1 month we did not see the time passed, but this circuit allowed us to admire the splendors of the landscape, to see wild animals, to see the life of people All these memories will remain engraved in our memory. What a wonderful trip!
(Translated by Google) We spent 3 great weeks in this country where everything is great!
We loved the many lakes and their unique green color, the Rockies and their snow-capped peaks, the immense forests, the human and animal encounters, the eclectic city of Vancouver, and the feeling of being alone in the world sometimes.
We learned to discover the history of this country as we went along. Exciting !
Thanks to Caroline from Authentik Canada for the perfect organization of this trip, before and during (mention for Jasper) and for her availability.

Very nice trip
(Translated by Google) It is really worth taking the time to make this trip and to be supported by an adviser to plan our trips and activities. The majority of our suggested accommodations were very good and all of the accommodations were very well located for our travels.
Congratulations Marie-Eve and thank you!
Superb trip
(Translated by Google) Very beautiful nature destination, comfortable car whose rental was easy, hotels, motels or cabins in line with our expectations, of good standing and well located, precious road-book! It is important to emphasize that the free GPS, Maps.me type is really essential to facilitate trips and visits. Likewise, scheduling the ferries and holding them in advance is a real convenience, to avoid adding long waits to the journeys. Over the 21 days, the self-tour program was balanced: we might have appreciated one more night in Whistler instead of one night in Kelowna.
It would nevertheless be wise to draw more attention to the traffic conditions on Canadian roads in summer: heavy traffic, excessive speed of trucks especially, and speed limits in general not respected by Canadians, which generates significant stress. behind the wheel, many work sites and therefore ultimately quite limited average speed, which lengthens the journey times initially planned.

Wonderful!
(Translated by Google) Wonderful! Unbelievable! This trip lacks superlatives!! Very nice road trip very well organized.
The services for the motorhome really very good. Fraserway even graciously lent us a barbecue and calles for my motorhome. However, a 2500km pass is clearly not enough in this kind of trip if you want to visit and see things a little. I recommend 3000km. GPS was essential! Thanks again.
The campsites were very good, very beautiful with a lot of "authentic" hiding except for the banff campsite where the welcome was not very friendly and where we were in a kind of huge parking lot. We did not stay and decided to spend the night at the david thomson resort between banff and Jasper which was much better from our point of view! I recommend!
The advice on visits and things to see / do in the roadbook were excellent! There is also a point that I would recommend to improve... having the addresses of the campsites directly in the itinerary (simpler for research) as well as the indication that certain roads, in particular in Wells Gray, are in the ground and very rocky (access to clearwater lake or hiking meadows)

Great trip and breathtaking landscapes!
(Translated by Google) The proposed destinations were pleasant to visit and we leave with thousands of images and memories. I suggest booking the activities with Authentikcanada. Most hotels were fine. We would have liked suites to accommodate our whole family rather than 2 rooms which were not always very close to each other. Some accommodation locations were less conducive to easy access to family activities.

Western Canada Travel
(Translated by Google) Great trip! Very good advice from Marie-Eve on the itinerary and the choice of accommodation. Everything went very well, including the rental of the car. Good advice in the roadbook on things to do and restaurants. Thank you for everything! Peter and Doris
Stunning landscapes and wild nature
(Translated by Google) Balanced trip, not too long drive, lots of great places, ideal for those who love hiking.
Only regret, mixed weather, many overcast days and rain.
And a black spot, very long wait for the ferry to Nanaimo (departure from Horseshoe bay), arrival at the terminal at 7:55 a.m. for access to the ferry (just barely) at 1:25 p.m....
A prototype
(Translated by Google) The incredible landscapes only one soft b ns would have appreciated knowing the price difference for each hotel and excursion as well as being advised on the location of the hotels before booking because the reservation is made very very quickly
The long-awaited initiatory journey...
Stunning nature, grandiose landscapes and kindness of the welcome
(Translated by Google) Overall a wonderful trip, but the stages were sometimes too short to visit all the sites, or sometimes too long in towns that were less interesting to us (eg Qualicum beach, a vast soulless resort). We would also have liked to discover less touristic sites, less frequented (ex: crowd at Lake Louise, impossible access, full parking from 8am) off the beaten paths, more "authentic"... what we expected from "Authentik" Canadian! But for a first trip to Western Canada, it was still very good!
[...]
Everything was perfect except for a small address error on a hotel.
(Translated by Google) Very good choice in the timing of hotel nights and very good service for excursions
Very nice and great trip
(Translated by Google) 3 weeks between parks, lakes, roads, high stations, small towns, Victoria, Vancouver, bears, moose, killer whales and whales. What an immense country... what uninhabited expanses!

Family road trip in a tent
(Translated by Google) Greedy in things to see we overestimated the load of setting up / dismantling the camps. However, Véronique has prepared a balanced program for us, taking into account the distances and the range of activities. The roadbook was impeccably prepared and shipped to our first stop in Canada.
The difference lies in the human exchanges in the preparation of our trip. We highly recommend Authentik Canada for its professionalism! Thanks to Véronique for her patience and her willingness to meet each of our wishes!

Excellent
(Translated by Google) The circuit that was offered to us was excellent for us (the Roadbook was perfect and the GPS was well programmed) easy to use.
Some hotels were ordinary (Le Marmot in Jasper, Days Inn in Revelstoke).
Thanks to Andrea Lavallee our advisor.
wonderful journey
(Translated by Google) Since childhood I dreamed of the great Canadian lakes that we see in the photos, of its forests, of its fauna. My darling and I are nature lovers, and we have found throughout this trip a place that exceeds our dreams. We fell in love with Canada. And we thank Emilie, our Authentik guide, for her organization and her help to make our trip unforgettable. It succeeded ! And we will be back! :) [...]
Great trip to Western Canada
(Translated by Google) Thank you to Authentik Canada and our advisor Laurence for helping us plan our superb stay in British Columbia and the Rockies and allowing us to modify the stages according to our wishes, but also for having done the necessary to find the accommodations when we are increased from 3 to 4 travelers.
This last change, however, earned us accommodations of different quality and comfort (In Tofino, for example, at Jamies's Rainforest Inn, we received a spring-loaded sofa bed and not a standard bed in the 2nd floor). bed that was really not comfortable), sometimes spacious, sometimes too narrow for 4 adults with their luggage, despite everything satisfactory overall.
With the help of the Roadbook which will remain a beautiful witness to this trip, but also the program that we had established ourselves from our research and thanks to very mild weather in July in British Columbia (up to 36°) , we made a superb 3-week journey from Vancouver to the Rockies, from the south (Banff) to the north (Jasper), then back west via Blue River, Wells Gray Park and Whistler, before reaching the Vancouver Island (Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Tofino, Victoria) then Vancouver again.
Memorable hikes (Lake O'Hara: be careful to get information early and reserve, limited places, Lakes Louise, Moraine, Maligne and so many others), 360° views when you dominate the lakes, canyons, falls, Hot Springs, viewpoints, glaciers, encounters with many animals (we counted a good twenty of them), in short, the majesty of wide open spaces, grandiose, exceptional landscapes that all nature lovers will appreciate.
Museums also dedicated to the First Nations (Vancouver and Banff).
A few moments also shared with Duane Howard ("The revenant"), in a restaurant in Vancouver...
We also greatly appreciated the frank and friendly welcome in the various hotels, and that of the Canadians in general, their calm, their kindness, their tolerance and their fair play behind the wheel.
To conclude, barely returned, we have only one desire: to go back, and why not in Quebec this time?
Some tips :
- For a summer trip, book early from November/early December.
- No need to take out additional insurance when picking up the rental car, resist the proposal. After all the driving we made the car dusty and didn't have to pay extra.
- Stay at least 2 nights in the same accommodation to have time to enjoy the place and the activities you want to practice there.
- Communicating your dissatisfaction to the hotel, if justified, can result in free parking for the night(s).
- Distances are long in Western Canada: choose your stages well, or choose to sacrifice a day for transport, which we did at the beginning of our stay by rallying Revelstoke from Vancouver, we did not regret it.
- Do not forget to take products against mosquito bites and once you are bitten: essential not to see your stay ruined
- For Lake O'Hara (between Field and Lake Louise), go to the various sites on the Internet and follow the advice to prepare your reservation well before the actual reservation date, make yourself available with a computer that does not "row "No, everything happens very quickly in only 1/4 hour sometimes... But the game is worth the effort! The places being limited, no crush on the trails (card for a few euros at the refuge).

Splendid, magnificent!!!
(Translated by Google) Fabulous trip, marred only by the smoke from the forest fires which on certain days spoiled the visibility of these magnificent landscapes. Very nice organization. Don't want to go back to France...
