Very good experience all round.
Not sure the relationship between Authentik and Four Seasons and Fraswerways but van was v.good and the staff a pleasure to work with. Would definitely do something similar in the future

Helpful friendly staff at the Cruise Canada rental station at Vancouver Delta. Happy with our C25 RV, the plastic covered bed mattress while we understand benefits a multi-customer use vehicle, is not comfortable for the user

Recommended, great vehicles

We hired a C20, having never hired an RV before. It was the perfect size and spec for 2 people. Beautifully clean and well kitted out.
Pick up and drop off both very smooth and didn’t take long, pretty thorough demo on how to use things. We thought the awning was broken half way through the trip so rang the support line, this was a positive experience too as they have support people in a lot of locations. (We didn’t end up needing to call someone out).
Overall very positive first RV experience.
We’d have loved it even more if drop off could be arranged to more hotels/locations. And the Calgary depot is a bit out of the way, so a bit tricky to get yourself there and back again, I think there was a shuttle service available but don’t think we were aware of this beforehand, there’s obviously a lot of info to read and we may have missed it.
It is costly booking a one way service rather than picking up and returning to the same location, and anything added eg bedding/kitchen supplies racks up the cost too. Plus you have to know roughly the mileage you’ll be covering or you get charged for extra kms.
100% recommend Fraserway though for quality of vehicle and on-road support. [...]

BC Road Trip

Wonderful Company and good RV

We reserved our RV by Authentik Canada . There were few different options to choose and we decided for the SAve 4 !
We were 2 of us and we would have preferred to get a smaller RV ( not the smallestof course) . The saver 4 option gives you the possibility to have randomly one RV choosen by them between the Medium , Large and Van. We got the largest one available ( 29 feet lenght) and also if we are good drivers and we loved to have more space inside, it was very very long !
We suggest not to order the SAver option but to decide and orde the RV or Van you prefer since maybe the one they will give you could be too big for 2 of you and you may could have some difficult driving it !
For us was perfect alos the longest one but the next time for sure we will order and rent the other one ( maybe 23-25 feet one! The Canadream company is located in Delta which is a bit difficult to get to from the airport since they are not offering any Shuttle. So you should take a Uber or rent a car for picking your RV up there !
We met also other Rvers who rent their one from other companies there, but we saw what canadream offers is better than the others!
Good RV, great people and customer service! Always available to answer to any question! We will come back again and we will use again the same Renting company!!

Excellent

We had a great holiday in our Fraserway rental. It was just the right size for the two of us. Our pick up was pretty slow as the branch in Calgary appeared to be short staffed but the pick up service from our hotel was great, they actually rang us to see if we wanted an earlier one because they were in our area which worked out well as we had been awake for hours! We lucked out and had a really new RV with only 10k on the clock and had no issues with it at all. Drop off was super easy and again the transfer back to our airport hotel was great. [...]

RV Hire

Overall very happy with the service. Hiring an RV was without doubt the best way to enjoy our time in Canada it was awesome. Stayed at various locations some which were absolutely amazing next to river etc, which would not of been possible any other way. There were a few bits regarding the extras required for the RV that could of been clearer during the ordering process, eg we didn’t need the optional heater as the RV was equipped with heating and AC. The demo by staff I had at the Vancouver branch wasn’t that great, had to wait quite a while, it was very rushed and little detail, not great in English therefore any questions we had weren’t fully explained. The handover at Calgary was better, smooth and efficient and gave us a little discount in recognition of the above comments. Overall really pleased, had an amazing time and cant wait to come back!! Great van for a couple

CanaDream DVC was a good choice for 2 people to spend time on Vancouver Island.
We had the van for 20 nights and were generally happy with it as a vehicle for our trip.
Positives- easy to drive and park in towns. Comfortable and with plenty of storage.
Negative- coach battery life not great if you’re having a couple of nights off grid you would need to use the generator to top it up.
Service at the depot was good and the pre-trip videos were very helpful. [...]

The best time!

We had an amazing time with our CanaDream deluxe van, it was exactly what we needed for an awesome adventure in Canada.

We broke a couple of glasses down a bumpy track but didn’t get charged which was nice. Only thing that could be improved, I felt the staff were quite pushy into trying to upsell you things at check-in and purposely put you on edge to try to get you to buy the most expensive insurance. [...]

Lovely RV

The RV was a lot bigger than we had imagined (30ft) but I personally lived driving it. It handled very well and mpg wasn't as bad as we thought it was going to be. Well laid out inside with plenty of storage. Our only niggles were that the cupboard felt cheap and were very difficult to open and there was no smart storage to stop plates/ glasses from sliding around. Also the oven took forever to cook anything. Apart from that, thoroughly enjoyed the expediency and would love to book again sometime. [...]

Perfect!

The RV experience was totally new to us. We were delighted by the freedom and loved every moment. The RV was spotless and well equipped. The pick up and drop off was well organised and efficient. The staff were very helpful and the roadside assistance was reassuring.

Summer Rental

Rented the C25 for a month just gone. 2 adults and 2 kids comfortably fit and RV was perfect for what we needed.
Very easy process from pick up to return.
Fantastic trip.

Wonderful experience from A to Z

We rented an RV in Calgary and returned in Vancouver (family of 4). We had a such a great experience from airport pick up/drop of to check ins/check out. The RV was well equipped and amazingly design for any camper needs. As an RV owner we loved Fraserway design and set ups.

One little note; I wish all offices had an area for campers to drop off their unused stuff they purchased during their trip - others can benefit from free items. We were given a bear spray, toilette paper, trash bags and more! I understand some people don’t appreciate or want a free stuff, but some do (otherwise it gets wasted and thrown away). An area for leftovers in each office would be an amazing “little” final touch. [...]

RV Rental

We had problems with both the water supply to / in the RV and the hob. And had to spend too much time on the phone to Cruise Canada customer services trying to get things sort. We were expected to find a screwdriver from other campers (not the thing you pack in your suitcase when coming from overseas) and take it to a repair garage which again ate into our vacation time. Felt the company had not done proper checks to see that the vehicles was fit to be hired out. Introductory information on the vehicle was brief - may have been fine for people use to hiring an RV but for novices like ourselves we would have appreciated a longer / more careful introduction. Fortunately nearby campers on our first campsite were able to help us out. Would probably not use this firm again to hire an RV. [...]

Vancouver to Calgary and back road trip

The guys at Fraserway were very helpful and efficient.
Explained everything to you about your van and answered any questions you had.
Did not rush you on pick up of van or when you were returning it.
Could not fault them.

High quality RV and good service

The RV we had from Fraserway was perfect. The size was exactly what we expected, it was clean and very new (only 5000km on it). The pick-up service was impeccable and the staff is very knowledgeable. I think almost every language was covered by the staff which is certainly helpful in case you are not a native speaker.

3 things that could be improved:
- More options for rental with small kids. I.e. a high chair (just one from Ikea) would be very very useful. Also, the choice of car seats was limited.
- Return of the RV took very long
- Shuttle service back from Fraserway to the airport. We waited for over an hour and were then told it was another 30mins wait at least! So we ended up taking an uber on our own cost. You would expect them to know the amount of people returning an RV on any given day and ensure enough transportation options. [...]

most things were OK

your website said we could attach our own bike carrier. When we tried to do this we discovered the trailer hitch insert had a device that blocked this from happening. So we couldn't bring our bikes.
The RV was very dark inside even if the sun was shining brightly. It could use to have a skylight.
The Velcro was missing on one side of the front window privacy curtain. We had to buy clothespins to hold it up.

3 RV rental

Picking up the RV went well, we picked it up a hour earlier than scheduled, the videos to watch before collection was good as you can refer back to them.
Unfortunately a lot of things on our RV was broken and it wasn't very clean on collection. However it got us around a 3 week road trip. Very big fuel tank, however done well on miles per gallon.
Ordered the unlimited service, as there was only 2 of us, unfortunately they would only let us take 3 bedding worth. The sheets and towels were stained and didn't feel very clean. We washed them as soon as we had chance. When returning the RV it was discussed to return it at 8 but there was no office staff until 8.30. However when I had to call out of hours for help and the electric wasn't coming through on the first connect, the phone line and person was very helpful and solved the problem within seconds. [...]

Very efficient collection and drop off

We had read differing reviews of Cruise Canada, but I can say that we were very pleased to have an efficient service from them. We called a couple of days in advance of pick up and told to call first thing on our collection day. Which we did and we were given a collection time that morning, so we didn’t have to wait around until the afternoon and could get under way. We were shown around the van and left to unpack ourselves at our leisure. We rented the personal bedding sets which comprised a pillowcase, sheet and duvet/sleeping bag. These were all fine, although it would have been nice to have figured out a way of changing these mid trip. After 12 days on the road they weren’t very fresh! The quality of the towels was poor though. Pretty threadbare and I’m glad we brought our own. The provisioning kit was fine, although it felt a bit like things that previous renters had bought. The cutlery was in a plastic bag and non matching. It was fine though.

So my advice is to bring a fitted sheet for the mattress as the flat sheets don’t stay put on a vinyl mattress, and bring your own towels too. [...]

RV pickup was easy and friendly. Everything worked.

Over priced and not what we expected we’d be getting the RV also felt like it had no suspension felt very bumb very uncomfortable ride . No heat in the back no stereo system in the back . I would not recommend this company to friends or family .

A perfect PV rental company

I don't have anything bad to tell about the Four Seasons Retal company. Realy everything was very satisfying and the smaller problems during the travel with the car were solved fast and very good.
Thank You for the great service and the nice RV they had for us ! Next time I will choose the same compay for sure.

rv review May 2024

We hired the van for 10 nights. It was easy to drive and park and hook up. There was enough space for the 2 of us + our luggage. The bed was easy to prepare and quite comfy. We enjoyed our stay overall but we do have one issue:

The bedding (quilts) didn’t feel very clean, were stained and thin. Sadly we think this was the cause for the van emitting an unpleasant ‘worn in’ odour of sweat whenever we returned after parking up for a time. The hidden air fresheners were cloying and did little to mask the problem

The kettle was broken on collection but we managed to repair it. The Wc light flickers constantly - sorry we meant to inform you of these little things when we returned it.

Bedding aside, we had a very enjoyable experience and recommended the company to people who enquired of it during our trip. [...]

Friendly, good value service.

Staff very helpful when collecting and returning RV. Sensible view to vehicle condition pre rental and on return. Conscious to ask if we had any issues (very small water leak from U-bend under sink) in order to rectify and initial concerns about small issues sorted before leaving depot.
Excellent transfer service from YVR airport hotel and back to airport.

Canadian tour

The RV was fully functional and sound, it just appeared a little tired.
