Driving Western Canada - an Australian experience

We had a fantastic driving trip from Calgary ro Vancouver via Banff, Jasper, Wells Grey National Park and Whistler. Authentic Canada had provide us with all the information we needed for a hassle free drive. We also had a GPS and some of the distances noted by Authentik didn’t match tho actual distances but we managed to find our way without too much trouble.
We liked the recommendations made for activities and eating particularly and the hotels were good, ranging from fantastic in the case of the Rimrock in Banff and the Fairmont in Whistler to ok in the case of the Crimson in Jasper. A highlight for us was the log cabin in the Alpine meadows resort and canoeing on its lake.
Vancouver provided a fitting end to our driving experience. Love that city.
