RV rental
Amazing van, amazing country and easy service
We travelled with our 1 year old daughter and the van was just about bug enough for the 3 of us. I was expecting more problems with the drop-off at the end of our trip with van inspection but it was a quick handover and no problems with our deposit.
The van itself was very easy to drive even for me with no experience of driving anything that large previously, and we had no problems with it during the 3 weeks.

RV Trip
Authentik Travel arranged all our travel needs and answered any queries promptly. Although we had a few problems with the RV itself we still had a great holiday.
Wonderful way to access the Rockies
We hired a Fraserway ‘Adventurer 4’ (also known as an ‘Overlander’) for a 14-night trip from Calgary to Vancouver. We have a 2-year-old boy, so we wanted an RV where he would be in the cab with us, not sat in the back. We also wanted a lot of space: the Overlander met these requirements. This was our first ever time in an RV/motorhome (we had not used one in our native UK). It was a great experience; Fraserway’s collection/drop-off worked very well. Also, our pre-trip support from Casandra at Authentik Canada (Motorhome-Canada.com) was superb; our many questions were dealt with swiftly and smoothly! [...]
Seamless experience, great service
Great service, great RV!
Wonderful!
Great experience. Terrific cooking equipment. Friendly and helpful staff. Would do it again.
professional, serious and pleasant experience
Our experience of Fraserway was that they are a professional, serious and comfortable business. We rented a TruckCamper and everything worked perfectly. The car was almost new, well equipped and very clean up nicely. We will definitely use Fraserway again if given the opportunity and highly recommend them to others
NOVA SCOTIA by CAMPER
NOVA SCOTIA is beautiful to begin with...but seeing it by driving the back roads in a CANADREAM CAMPER is the way to go.
The Canadream staff under the direction of Wilhelm Hermes were friendly, helpful and professional at the same time. Andrea started us off with setting us up, giving us maps and pointing us in the right direction. Our 21 foot TRANSIT 350 was well equipped, not too big and quite comfortable. WE traveled over 2500km in eight days all over the coast, the parks, the forests and small towns everywhere. The weather was perfect, the people were friendly, and seafood was unbeatable. Upon our return, the staff again made our checkout quick and easy, with David even transferring us back to Halifax airport. Wilhelm runs a well organized experience, and CANADREAM does all the rest.

Brand New RV
We had the C20 RV from Fraserway. Ideal for 2 ppl. I would put 4 ppl in it.. that might be tight.
Service was good. Coffee and Hot dogs while you wait. In peak season expect 2-4 hrs to get your RV and explained how all works.

Trip to Quebec province
I am very satisfied with the process. Canadream was very careful on provide a clean and well maintained RV. My only complain was about the time waiting for RV delivery (3h). In the other side, they charged me $150.00 cad due to late check out (45 min). There was no compensation on that. Another point was unavailability of the GPS, what was changed by Motorhome Canada. Inspect to have a refund on this charge. [...]

Limitless fun and comfort
We never drove an RV before, but that’s something we wanted to do for a long time.
And it’s so fun, driving in this country is easy, even with a long motorhome.
Camping in the middle of the woods, near a river,.. No need to pack in and out every evening/morning in a hotel, it’s cozy and the perfect solution when travelling with a baby.
Their service was all you could wish for.
The camper was very modern, everything you need is in there, kitchen, bed, shower, bench,.. I think later we might buy one… ????
The campers of authentik Canada have slide outs, it means that when you’re on the campsite the side will slide out so you have more room inside, which is comfortable and a big bonus..

Great first time RV experience
Fresh from an overnight at hotel nearby, we arrived at Fraserway (Vancouver) bright and early, and were immediately greeted on the forecourt by a friendly lady inviting the taxi driver to take us directly to our RV - nice touch! - after completing the paperwork - with help enabling me to download one of the driver's licence (and lots of patience) - we were given a relaxed walk around the RV chosen for us. No question was too trivial and plenty of time was given. Their 'knowledge guru' (a lady with lots of knowhow about driving in Canada and places to go) was on hand in the office to allcomers. Everyone at the pickup point was friendly and accommodating.
The vehicle guide, maps and places to go, driving in Canada help, all went towards being confident about the coming two weeks - we drove from Vancouver across to Calgary for a dropoff there.
During the time of hire there was a phone number to call should we have any questions. We used this once, and helpful advice was well-received.
At drop-off at Calgary, the welcome was as equally friendly and helpful - eager to know how we got on, and welcomed feedback on our experience. Signing-off paperwork quickly dealt with, free coffees (as was at Vancouver) and an unplanned courtesy transfer to our hotel was equally gratefully received and friendly.

Our first RV trip
This was our first time renting an RV and we were very impressed. Fraserway arranged to collect us from an agreed place and we were then given an overview of the truck camper before we drove off. The return was also seamless and we were then dropped off at the airport. We will definitely use them again. The whole trip was enjoyable and the truck camper had everything we needed.
Disappointed
The entire experience was extremely disappointing, with multiple failures in provision which only became apparent on the road. Most significant was the failure of the black water lever. This did not work, meaning that every time we needed to empty our black water tank into the dump we literally got covered in piss and shit as the waste water flooded out the moment the cap was removed and before we could attach the waste pipe. Horrific, messy and embarrassing on campsites. The worst is that when we returned the RV at the end of the week it became apparent that this is a known problem with this make! Unacceptable.
Other issues included the need to tie the bathroom door shut with string when moving, shower not working and showerhead falling off wall, drawer not closing, vent hatch on roof flying opening while driving, steering pulling to the right, no working tin opener, water hose connection leaking meaning not able to connect to city water valve at sites, tire pressure indicator came on frequently - though no information in Guide advising what this light actually referred to so we had to call Cruise America emergency to get advice), cruise control failed to work
All in all, this RV should not have been hired out. It made for a stressful week, and we just kept waiting on the next systems failure to reveal itself. Very poor exerperience and we will actively be advising friends not to use this company (though we do acknowledge that the manager at returns was sympathetic and understanding).

Brilliant RV
Quick pick up and drop off, new and clean RV, amazing experience
Nice trip with a well equiped RV
Very good experience from the booking to the RV pickup. People were very helpful and RV renter (Fraserway) explained pretty well how to use the motorhome.
-0 day trip
Trip through the mountains to Alaska
We had a great experience. The vehicle was in exelent shape outside and inside. Everything we needed on the way was there. It was clean & tidy (exept for some dog or cat hair). But that did not subtract anything from our total experience. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and explained everything well befor we started out. They even accomodated with the language.
Great Service
The RV was dirty and the hot did not work properly
First of all, we have spent a long time to pick the RV up. We have received a poor explanation of the functionalities and then we realized that the RV was dirty and the hot water was not working.
Great company to rent your RV from
Clean and ready to roll. CanaDream was great to work with.
Awesome experience
Nice overall but with problems
RV was very dirty inside when we got it, as well the kitchenware.
RV was drifting heavily to the right and the wheel trembled at 90 to 100 km/h.
Propane and black reservoir indicators were not functioning properly.
Despite what was announced on the Authentik site, RV was not new, had 80k km and the seating fabrics were old and dirty.
Excellent vehicle and a great trip.
We picked up our truck camper from Whitehorse. The vehicle was a Ford 350 6.7 Turbo Diesel and virtually brand new with only 4,000 kms on clock. Everything was in good working order and they seemed to have upgraded the mattress from last year. We travelled 3,200 kms in 2 weeks including the Dempster Highway all the way to the Arctic Ocean and then back down to Skagway before returning to Whitehorse. The vehicle handled the 2,000 kms of dirt roads impeccably.
great trip and a great vehicle.

Family road trip in Quebec
We enjoyed our road trip in a C25 vehicle, hired from Montreal Cruise Canada. However, the vehicle was very well used and fairly poorly maintained. The vehicle was mechanically sound so we chose to report the issues on our return to Montreal rather than try to report during our trip and risk losing vacation time on issues that really should have been dealt with BEFORE we took the vehicle. Considering that this was relatively early in the season, the cleanliness was poor - there was old food left in cupboards and hairs / dirt in the shower. All surfaces were poorly cleaned and the cab seats were REALLY grubby.
the vanity sink tap leaked so badly into the cupboard below (more so when attached to mains water) that we couldn't use this sink at any time nor the cupboard beneath. The kitchen sink was missing a plug which made washing up and personal washing (based on not being able to use the vanity sink) tricky. The main door into the vehicle was VERY difficult to lock and required hard slamming and 2 people (one inside and one outside to lock properly). As a consequence we spent much of our holiday climbing in and out through the cab doors - not ideal! The picnic table provided was FILTHY and the top broken. We never used it.
The kitchen kit that we paid $110 for had items missing or broken: We had no chopping board, no broom and no torch. 'Sharp' knives were more blunt than the table knives. The kettle was broken, the large pan was missing a handle (broken handle kindly placed in the cupboard) , the frying pan handle was loose, a mug was broken and the tin opener was rusty and so bent that it didn't open a tin. The microwave motor was so noisy that we feared it would blow up.
We started to explain the above issues to the Montreal team but they were so focused on signing our vehicle off and turning it around that they really weren't listening. We got the distinct impression that this van would be sent out again in the same condition. This is a shame as the team were friendly and otherwise helpful.
Based on the above issues and the cost to rent these vehicles and the extras paid for, we had hoped for better. We were expecting basic and weren't looking for a shiny new van but, overall, we would hesitate to recommend Cruise Canada and would probably not use them again. My advice to anyone taking a rental - check as much as you possibly can before you drive away!
