Not bad

Very easy to book the car online through Authentik. We had initially booked a compact car one way from Vancouver to Calgary, but when we got to the counter we were offered an upgrade to an SUV, because of where we were going (over the Rockies). We declined at first but the counter assistant was quite insistent. So we agreed. When we found our car we could see why he was so insistent, as the registration plate was Alberta. So Thrifty were clearly keen to get that car back to Calgary! On the way there were oil service warning lights and at one point a warning for the emergency brake system, but this cleared. Looks like the car was due a service. We didn't really mind the upgrade, but it would have been nice if the assistant had been upfront about needing to get the car back to Calgary.
