Amazing but very cold

Anonymous Saturday June 29, 2024

Great experience from the start. Meeting point was easy in the RV parking lots then took you to a great place. The guides were very enthusiastic and you can tell they loved their job. Take your own towel to change (on the bus) after. 4 degrees water so I was very cold, but I can't wait to it again some day.

Not too scary, but wear your bathers!

Its not a ferocious ride at all. There are a few exciting and choppy bits where you do need to be securely positioned, but mostly its a lovely ride down the Athabasca river, viewing areas not possible to access by foot. If you're brave enough you even get a chance to jump in!! We thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip and all the guides were such fun. One thing we were unaware of, was that there are no changing rooms, so you have to strip off in the bus to put on the supplied wetsuit. Most people were aware and already had bathing costumes on.

Good activity but not as thrilling as expected
