Impeccable!

Went to the Avis desk with our 'bon d'échange', went through the contract clauses on screen and signed digitally, got given the keys and that was that! We ended up with a VW Jetta with sunroof, large boot, very comfortable, perfect. After getting used to the automatic gearbox (and managed to get the car going once we got that we had to push the brake pedal first!!), off we went. When filling in the petrol, there are 3 buttons at the pump you can choose from from 87, 89, or 91. We actually chose all of them at some point in the hols. The return was well sign posted at the airport, you just park your car in the lane provided, somebody is there to get the keys back and check all is paid and that's it! Super simple and efficient.
