Quebec by Motorhome
13 days in a motorhome in Quebec
(Translated by Google) We had booked this trip for the summer of 2020, but due to the pandemic, we were only able to leave in the summer of 2022... Two long years of waiting to discover Quebec by motorhome, a unique experience that delighted children and parents! We were very confident to go with Authentik, having already traveled with Authentik USA in 2017 to discover the western United States. Our trip to Canada went perfectly, smoothly. The only downside concerns the RV rental company (Canadream): the pick-up to the branch was not provided (driver absent) and we waited 2 hours at the hotel before an adviser from Authentik Canada told us to take a taxi that was paid for by Canadream. Even surprised at the discount (in pm), the driver of their shuttle had already left and we waited 2 hours before Canadream offered us the taxi to the airport. Canadream also billed us for additional mileage despite our package included, 33km is nothing but it's not fun! Apart from these disappointments, the RV was in good condition and posed no problem during the 13 days. In the end, the experience was really great: the landscapes delighted us and the activities offered by Authentik Canada lived up to our expectations (apart from the black bear safari which lasted too long for our taste). What a pleasure to see humpback whales so close in Tadoussac!
Thank you Marie-Michelle for your wise advice and our support during our trip.

Great family stay in Quebec
(Translated by Google) Two-week family road trip in the natural parks of Quebec with two children aged 4 and 6. Great moments, magnificent landscapes, exciting activities, all in a comfortable motorhome.
Quebec with the family in a motorhome
(Translated by Google) We had a very nice trip to Quebec, very well organized, well paced, the landscapes were magnificent...
We were very well advised by the Authentik Canada team, who were attentive and very available.
The roadbook was a valuable tool for us throughout the trip, all the useful information was in it, it was just perfect!

Everything that is planned is achievable and carried out within the agreed timing.
Selection of accommodations at the top, we could not have had such nice choices.
Great suggestions for activities, we are delighted with the service.
The very good availability of our roadtrip specialist is a real guarantee of comfort.
Roadbook which allowed us to dream upstream, during the roadtrip to be ready for accommodation and activities and afterwards to keep a nice book evoking very good memories.
We simply recommend!

Fantastic
(Translated by Google) Perfect communication for the organization with Daphne, to each email I had a quick response. And the trip was very well organized, the campsites great, with the roadbook and the vouchers everything was very simple. You can fully trust this agency. Thank you Authentik Canada. Thank you Daphne
Nice course
(Translated by Google) First of all the road book is great...helps us a lot. All campsites were fine. The course was great. With the motorhome it was still practical, no need to run in the morning to pack everything up. To change every 2 days we were afraid that it would be short and tiring but on the contrary, it was always with enthusiasm to leave for a new destination and sublime landscapes. [...]
exceptional trip
(Translated by Google) superbly organized trip, satisfied on all points. A big thank you to Emilie who has always been available and responsive to our questions. The only point is the motorhome that we had is not really comfortable and the cleanliness is not great.
Good organization but disappointment with the motorhome
(Translated by Google) I divide my opinion into 3 sections because each of them is independent and deserves a return.
1) The organization of the trip by Authentik: Very professional and everything was very well organized according to what had been decided together. Dialogue with a dedicated person who follows the file from start to finish is a good idea. We had no problems throughout our stay without needing any assistance. A suggestion all the same: in the first electronic version of the "roadbook" there were itineraries. Those do not appear in the printed version and if they should remain the course times must be adjusted.
2) Motorhome (residential vehicle in Quebec) provided by CruiseCanada. The vehicle part is built on a platform from the 80s and it really feels like being in a car from those years, consumption is in line with technology: 25l/100km on average while being very light on the pedal of accelerator. The technical equipment is very complete (tanks, pressurized water, fridge, water heater, heating, air conditioning and generator) but the style is also that of the US 80s. The habitability is very average and sleeping at 6 requires a certain organization. You have to be able to live outside, but that's not always possible. The kitchen equipment provided is very limited.
Motorhome travel: When your home and your vehicle are one, there are a lot of constraints. Leaving implies that everything is tidy and set up, so preparation. On the other hand, the size of the machine means that it is not always easy to stop and even less to park. We hesitate to make a small detour for a small village or a point of view. The main advantage is obviously the fact that you don't have to do anything and unpack your bags and that you don't have to go to a restaurant. Camping in the wilderness of national parks is a great experience allowed by the motorhome, so do not neglect this point. But you have to be aware of the constraints. To enjoy it a little more you need a motorhome with equipment allowing life outside: awning, tent with mosquito net, chairs,...

Totally up to our expectations
(Translated by Google) The places offered were perfect as well as the related advice. The suggestions for the number of nights to spend in each place are to be followed because, as far as we are concerned, for lack of time we were not always able to follow these recommendations in the organization of the trip, and we clearly missed them.
Only one downside, which earned us a call to the help desk: the condition of the motorhome and the pick-up service. The machine seemed very dilapidated, we were provided without a full tank of water when we were assured that it was done but that it was the gauge that was inoperative. We finally understood that the water tank had simply not been filled, after a night of worry.

And what a pleasure to live in nature.
Thank you for the perfect organization and for your valuable advice!
motorhome trip to Quebec with the family!
(Translated by Google) Second trip to Quebec with Authentik Canada!
This time with the family and the first time in a motorhome
Nickel motorhome service
A very successful trip and especially thanks to Tanya Odam who organized our trip
When we have a problem and she is always there to help us even during stays
another BIG THANK YOU!
Great stay well organized
(Translated by Google) Magnificent region for nature lovers. We were able to enjoy the stay without worrying about reservations.
A great help for a trip to Canada
(Translated by Google) Very well done road book.
A few small errors but overall reservations always on top and a very efficient contact on the ground.
To recommend
Road trip trop cool
(Translated by Google) Great road trip with our rooftop tent. Very well organized, the interlocutors hyper reactive
It's great to be able to focus only on the love!
Excellent organization to travel with peace of mind
(Translated by Google) With Authentik, I was able to book accommodation when there were few places left. I would have really struggled to coordinate all the places and make all the reservations by myself, it would have taken me a long time.
We were able to compose a tailor-made trip, adding and modifying what we wanted to see or do.
Everything was ready, nothing to worry about to really enjoy the holidays.

The beauty of Quebec's landscapes!
(Translated by Google) We had a very nice, stress-free trip because everything was well planned. SÉPAQ campgrounds are really to be preferred, nature in all its beauty! Favorite for the Hautes?Gorges-
de-la-Rivière? Malbaie and Fjord-du-Saguenay Park.
Thanks
Travel to Quebec with our own RV
(Translated by Google) Superb experience!
The route we had determined with our advisor Marie-Andrée was perfect.
Second experience with Authentik Canada for us and once again we were not disappointed!????
The beauty of the trip by doing business with Authentik Canada is that everything is organized and we only had to show up at the different campsites and present our voucher.
Lots of wonderful memories!
Thanks!

Exceptional, from start of planning to return
(Translated by Google) My experience with Authentik blew me away! The site is great for planning vacations: it's easy to take inspiration from existing packages and customize it to your liking. The reservation of the RV, accommodation and activities is done all at the same place; it is easy to see at a glance the holiday schedule and the price.
Throughout the stay, we were well accompanied by the Roadbook. Every accommodation and activity was well planned and it was easy to get to the sites.
We had a few questions for our advisor while planning and traveling and were bowled over by the prompt and courteous service. What a fabulous experience!

Our first RV trip
(Translated by Google) We wanted to take a trip in RV and this year was the perfect opportunity to put our plan into action.
I did my research and when I contacted Authentik they were able to answer my questions and also give me sound advice for renting an RV. In addition they advised me on the activities to do.
Everything went well and all reservations were respected, no problem.
My advisor, Véronique, has always been attentive to our needs and the return calls have been quick.

Trip to Quebec
(Translated by Google) We had impeccable service with Authentik. As soon as we had a problem, we contact you and you were there to solve everything. Thank you for your involvement and your speed of service.
Our trip was very pleasant! We loved the Mauricie Park and the sepaq Jacques-Cartier. As for the other campsites, we found that it lacked nature. Camping Val-Jalber was good but very noisy, we were near the road and we could hear a lot of traffic even at night. Subsequently my father's Jardin campsite, very disappointing in terms of facilities. Very sticky land, little space and nature, dismal laundry facility, only 1 washer and 1 functional dryer. We had to line up and wait. Installation of basic common toilets and showers.
Good desire camping, camping with a magnificent view apart from where we were. Still too close to the road.
Camping de la joie, beautiful campsite, quiet near the city.
We enjoyed all of our activities! Overall everything was perfect! I name the inconveniences because I think these can be improved with the choice of land and campsite!
Thank you again for your service Marie-Michele! :)

Great trip!
(Translated by Google) The RV was in perfect condition and with a huge luggage compartment. It was a great trip where we visited seven beautiful regions of Quebec.
Great road trip on the roads of Quebec
(Translated by Google) We loved our 2 weeks in RV. We discovered beautiful places. Ideal for enjoying the outdoors in the comfort of a house on wheels!
Magnificent discovery of Quebec with the family in the summer!
(Translated by Google) Except for the disappointment of our whale safari canceled without warning by the service provider the same day, and this without any valid reason, the itinerary chosen was perfect, varying different atmospheres and landscapes.
Too bad not to plan the coast of Charlevoix which is however worth the detour.
Canadream at the top with super comfortable and functional luxury RVs.
Thank you Authentik Canada for this total disconnection in such a beautiful environment.
We hope to do another trip soon!!!

A beautiful nature trip with children
(Translated by Google) Very nice trip with many nights in the parks allowing a great immersion in nature. With two young children, you really have to plan for the margin because the pace is slow, but that's what we did on the advice of Authentik. We were able to enjoy outdoor activities such as beach, kayak, pedal boat, canoe, mini hike, bike...
Three small regrets:
- After picking up the motorhome on Friday afternoon, we had our first night at Mont Tremblant. It was actually a bit too far and therefore a stressful first night arrival. Indeed there are a lot of traffic jams on Fridays, and picking up the motorhome plus shopping takes a long time. A first night at Okka would have allowed a more serene start.
- La Fabuleuse show: a very nice show but we hadn't realized that it was in a theater (we were thinking of an outdoor show). So it was not really suitable for young children, and we paid for a seat for our 9 month old baby for nothing (because of course he stayed on my lap)
- Visit of Quebec: a very large group (more than 20 people) which pushed the guide to zap some aspects of the visit (not to enter the churches so many), slower group so need to catch up...

It's overall a very nice trip, Canada and the region of Quebec is an excellent destination.

Very satisfied despite some approximations
(Translated by Google) Overall, very good stay with Authentik Canada. Well-chosen campsites, suitable activities and a useful road book. A few approximations though:
- the mileage of our journey was incorrectly assessed which led to the billing of additional km on the return of the motorhome.
-the name of our first hotel changed between our reservation and the day of departure, which complicated our arrival in Montreal
-some activities did not have to be confirmed in advance as specified in the road book. Unnecessary telephone charges.
With these things in mind, we will not hesitate to use Authentik Canada again.

A magical week
(Translated by Google) A great journey (Lac Saint Jean / Fjord / Tadussac). Beautiful places and an Authentik organization at the top. The roadbook is great, the indications nickels, the reservations (voucher) super simple and well managed (for the size of our motorhome for example).
The minor drawbacks: the travel times indicated in the roadbook are a little underestimated when you are in a motorhome! and it might be necessary to think of calling all the activities subject to climatic hazards before going there... (so as not to travel additional and useless km if the activity is cancelled).
But otherwise: the week was perfect and makes you want to redo trips in the same genre! ( Gaspésie maybe? )

Discovering a warm Quebec
(Translated by Google) 15 days, it was just enough time to fill our eyes, our heads, our senses with an exceptional experience. Everything rolled: the extraordinary motorhome 9 m by 4 high for 5, electrical extensions that enlarged our space, highways and roads a little under construction but not too much, access to parks and camping areas always nice and nature, multiple visits and discoveries: the mauricie with its forests and lakes, lake St Jean with the village of val Jalbert with its waterfall and the zoo of St felicien and its bears, the Saguenay and its forjd; the St Laurent and its 4 humpback whales which came to flirt with our zodiac, the lumberjack meal at the sugar shack (which allowed us not to eat for a while); Jacques Cartier Park and its unforgettable storyteller and the rabasca ride; Quebec and Montreal with their history and their grandeur.... nothing was missed and although returning to France we still feel imbued with our beautiful trip.
But above all, we regret the exceptional warmth of the welcome and benevolence from Quebec. We, lost looking for a restaurant and as soon as a good soul to guide us, a mistake on the road and everyone lets us pass, a question about the cheese that makes chouïk chouik and a conversation begins, and everyone tells us their story: from the 13th generation who arrives from France and welcomes us to his cape sugar shack, Mohamed our huber from the start and his first winter to cry in Montreal, from the driver of canadream (camping car) giving us a thousand tips and experiences of camping, of this Quebec family visiting our camper van and giving us the names of the members of their family. And especially from this good soul who transported us from the campsite to Quebec despite the fact that we had missed the shuttle and allowed us to offer a superb birthday in Quebec to our daughter.
everything was unforgettable like the marshmallows melting around a wood fire.

Fantastic trip
(Translated by Google) We loved our motorhome trip. Unforgettable trip!
Tailor-made holidays
(Translated by Google) We are very satisfied with our vacations in Quebec and we owe this greatly to the services of Authentik Canada.
The organization was done at the beginning of the year by email exchanges and live texts. In less than a week the project was completed!
We did a loop in VR (motorhome for the French ;O)) for 12 days. Everything was up to our expectations, only one downside the Tadoussac / sugar shack trip, honestly it was not a good plan: Sugar shack activity at 12 p.m., planned trip of 3:30 hours for which, despite the added margin we took 5 hours! so arrived 30min late and driver exhausted by the tension at the Sugar Shack. The driver (me) got over it.
We were 2 adults and our 8 year old grandson.
The recreational vehicle really suited our needs. Although impressive when picked up, it turned out to be very easy to drive, use and offer comfort worthy of a French 3-star hotel. Attention dear French compatriots for travel times in general change your reference, here we do not calculate your travel time as with us: the mileage is an indication but for the real time it is necessary to take into account i) speed limits which do not are not the same as here and which are respected ;o)), ii) works on the roads which will really slow you down so I advise you to add 15% to the time that the GPS will indicate to you.
The camps in general and in the parks in particular offer large pitches and good services in very pleasant places. A word of advice, put yourself in Canadian fashion and make campfires and roast marshmallows!
The highlights were:
The kindness, availability and competence of Canadians everywhere we went. We met, in the camps among other things, adorable people, a pity not to have been able to deepen our discussions due to time constraints.
Saint Felicien zoo. We spent a full day there without being bored for a second. The animals, although captive, seem well treated, the explanations given by the naturalists are of a very good standard and they are available for the children's questions.
The village of Val-Jalbert. I was dubious before the visit, fearing the tourist trap. It is not so, it is a moment and a way of life of Quebecers in 1920 to discover.
Whales in Tadoussac. Breathtaking!! What to say about this unforgettable experience? A humpback whale gave us a phenomenal show for about twenty minutes, jumps, flapping pectoral fins, caudal fin release, etc... We saw about fifteen humpback whales and a few fin whales. The captains of the zodiacs know their job well and optimize the time at the observation site by following the animals at a reasonable distance. To do absolutely.
Guided tour of Quebec. An old town to discover and a part of the history of France to discover too ;0)) Not really glorious for us.
To conclude, we have a strong desire to return to Canada as soon as possible, probably further west or, why not, a West / East RV trip.
If you have a vacation project in Canada, entrust it to Authentik.
