Great Experience
I recently rented a car from Avis and was really happy with the service. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the whole process was quick and easy. The car was clean and in good shape, and I didn't have any problems during my trip. The return was also hassle-free.

Avis office in Vancouver was busy but no real hassle getting the car. Loved the Jeep Sahara. Powerful car ideal for driving around Canada. Price was also good.

Family Visit
I had a good time with my family visiting Ontario between November 4 to 14. The car reservation with AVIS worked smoothly: the reserved car was available in time, and the price was right with a great discount.

Good Car Rental - 1,5 Month- Road trip Québec
Exactly what I was hoping for.
Service was nice, explaining all the steps, handing me contact info for the trip.
You have someone checking the car with you before you leave.
Car was clean, well taken care of.
I took the smallest option which unfortunately doesn't have any GPS.

I was glad to receive an upgraded car. I was disapointed insurance cost almost as the rental itself. I of course had no choice but to pay it.

We had an amazing trip which ran smoothly from beginning to end. Our road trip specialist quickly responded to any queries we had before we set off and helped us book last minute excursions. All the activities we booked through authentik Canada were well organised with great guides. We were slightly disappointed with the river safari as it is advertised as a wildlife viewing trip but this was not realistic given the noise of the boat BUT still a fun trip with some beautiful scenery. We would also recommend Canuck canoe in ucuelet which was a man with a Canadian canoe who gave an amazing guided tour of the inlet which we booked independently.
Authentik Canada provided a great foundation for us to build a trip of lifetime and we wouldn’t have any hesitation about recommending them.

Great Experience!
It was so easy to book my car rental through Authentik Canada. Their website is very user friendly. The agents were very accommodating. When we collected the car until we returned it, it was smooth sailing had no problems at all. The price is very reasonable. All praises for Authentik Canada and thrifty car rental!
Good car with useful options
The car was a Toyota Corolla.
I appreciate the lane assist, the dynamic cruise control and the rear camera. A front parking assist would complete the equipment. The compact dimensions allow a low fuel consumption, easy parking and a fluent driving. In Europe we are used to driving compact cars. I was a little surprised by the little assistance over an insurance question.

A Very Good Experience
I came across this company inadvertently but can say that I am very glad that I did. It helped that I booked well in advance as the prices were very competitive. At the time of booking, I found only one other provider offering similar prices. All other car hire websites/companies were at least 200-300 pounds more. The service after the initial reservation was very good and I even had the option of booking an appointment for a telephone call with an actual agent if i wanted. the communication otherwise was very good and it was a very efficient service. I actually had the option of a few vehicles at the branch and did eventually choose a Nissan Rogue (X-Trail in Europe) which was perfect. The only slightly disappointing thing was that I asked if I could change to a different car and was told that due to it being a one-way rental I would not be able to. This is most likely an actual Avis policy and therefore not a reflection of Authentik [...]

Very easy booking through Authentik and pick up at Avis. It saved us a considerable amount of money.
Calgary to Vancouver trip
When we picked the car up, the sale agent tried to sell us a number of unnecessary extra's, which we declined. When we saw the car it was in poor condition. It was dirty and smelt of smoke. It a chip on the windshield and many scratches. They claimed they didn't have another car to give us. We were only offered a $50 discount due to the car being dirty.
The car actually performed well during our trip which we travelled 2600km.
I contacted Authentik as I was concerned we would have a hard time when dropping the car off. We were pleased with the response from Authentik rep, which made the drop off in Vancouver go very smoothly.

Thrifty Dodge Caravan Rental through Authentik
Our booking process was easy with email questions answered fairly promptly.
The car itself was in good condition and had travelled only a bit over 30,000 km.
One thing we struggled with was finding somewhere we could check the air pressure in the tires. We are from Australia where virtually every fuel station has an electronic air pump for this purpose. Perhaps information about that for international travellers could be included.
On pick up of the vehicle in Calgary there were some scratches and marks not shown on the agreement. We noted these and returned to the desk as advised - no questions asked of the. On return of the vehicle at Vancouver airport the Thrifty rep asked where we picked up the vehicle and commented on the excessive notations. As a renter you need to know you are not going to be blamed for any marks/dents that were on the vehicle at pick up, so the fact they were not marked at collection and that attitude at pick up was a little concerning. The delay at pick up was also long.. mentioned on the documents it could be, but when a car is pre booked for a time it is a little difficult to understand why after queuing and waiting it is still along wait.
