Family vacation in Quebec
Wonderful Experience
Had a great time in Eastern Canada, everyone we met at the Hotels, Auberges and Self Catering Accommodation were very friendly and helpful. It was useful having recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to eat in. Particularly enjoyed the Auberges and would stay in these more next time. Found driving around Montreal very stressful, as the road conditions and traffic is very confusing, otherwise main roads are easy to drive on. We were a bit worried about using the hire car on the unmade up roads which we had to use to get to a number of the properties. We went to some very memorable locations in the Haute Maurice and Saguenay areas and experienced wild life and nature at its best. [...]
A very beautiful discovery and a return to nature!
(Translated by Google) A magnificent country where nature remains intact. Quebecers are friendly people always ready to help you. Thank you Authenttik for this very successful trip (no problems!) and thank you to Danika for her advice.

(Translated by Google) Very beautiful tour and very well planned. We really liked "la Seigneurie du Triton" and "Val Jabert" at Lake St. Jean, the meals were delicious.
Nature and freedom
(Translated by Google) This trip to Quebec was very pleasant even though the weather was not always on our side.
We left Montreal to go to the Presbytery B&B at Lac St. Edouard.
The road is superb between lakes and forests. Nathalie and Louis welcomed us very well where we also had dinner. One night is enough (as you advised). It is worth passing through St. Edouard as one can sense the immensity of the country and the life of these isolated villages that exist due to the passage of the train crossing Quebec.
The stay at Lac St. Jean was very pleasant. I recommend going to Trou de la Fée for hiking and also rafting on the Métabetchouane River. The waterfalls are superb. The village of Val Jalbert is a must-visit. We revisited life in Quebec in 1920 where the pulp mills provided jobs and a good quality of life.
We enjoyed the facilities at Auberge des Iles a bit where the restaurant offers a very nice view of the lake.
The zoo is also worth visiting, with a safari allowing us to see bears in particular.
We then went to L’Anse St. Jean. Charming village by the fjord. The sailing trip was fantastic. I recommend it even for beginners. Superb landscapes.
I recommend the hike to the statue.
We could not visit the New France site the next day because it is closed on Mondays. So be sure to specify this.
I also recommend La Baie de la Marguerite to get in contact with the belugas.
Near Tadoussac, we were a bit disappointed with the camping. No water and no electricity in the tent. Only two showers for the entire campsite. Not the best experience (it was cold too).
Tadoussac and the whales are must-sees.
The next day on the road to Malbaie, the outing to see brown bears is top-notch. In an observatory in the middle of the forest, we are in front of the spectacle of nature. To do.
The visit to Manoir Richelieu is worth a look.
La Malbaie is very pretty with its cafes and galleries. It’s good to be able to stop for a night.
I also recommend the guided tour of Quebec to start exploring the city.
We would have liked to visit the Frontenac Hotel but there were no more places. I don’t remember if it was proposed but I think it should be insisted to offer this visit.
I also recommend visiting the Chaudière Falls in Levis where we stayed. Beautiful trails and the explanation of how a hydroelectric power plant works.
Maybe a bit more authentic than the Montmorency Falls, which are much more touristy. The zip line is top-notch. You can get the video.
For Montreal, even though we booked it ourselves, 3 days is enough (we stayed 5 days). From mid-August, the fair and the outdoor pool at St. Helen’s Island are closed during the week. We would also have liked to do a guided bike tour but everything was booked.
To conclude, a superb trip with very welcoming and caring Quebecers.
Also, warn about climatic variations as it dropped to 11 degrees on August 20.
Thank you for organizing this trip.

Beautiful discovery of Quebec
(Translated by Google) Québec is a very beautiful destination. For a first family trip, we all enjoyed it.
(Translated by Google) Thank you to Authentik for organizing this trip. The distances in Canada are larger but so is the time, the diversity of our itinerary and what we were able to do thanks to Authentik allowed us to relax and discover eastern Canada in a privileged way. The app is a real plus with the offline guidance. There is really nothing to complain about in terms of the schedule, activities, and accommodations. Thank you very much, it was perfect! [...]
(Translated by Google) The trip was a real success and we are very happy with the organization by Véronique. The accommodations and excursions were very high quality. The roadbook is very well made and very useful.
(Translated by Google) I sincerely recommend the services of Authentik Canada, everything was perfect, both in the advised self-drive tour route and in the offered accommodations and activities... We had an excellent stay in Canada, everything was perfectly organized. If we were to go back, we would undoubtedly use the services of Authentik Canada again... A big thank you especially to Véronique, for her attentiveness, her valuable advice, and her professionalism. A top travel agency! [...]
(Translated by Google) We traveled with your company from August 3rd to 24th, 2024. Our road trip went well overall, with a good quality hotel, not too long journeys, and good quality tours sold.
We had a few issues with the rental car; it had numerous dents on the body and over 75,000 km. On the road, we had a chip on the windshield, which we had repaired, and a flat tire. While the latter is not very serious in itself, according to the two garages we visited, the vehicle's tires were very worn, which caused the flat. The garage wanted to change the tires because there was a risk for us on the road.
We tried to contact Avis to have the tires changed but it was impossible, so we continued driving with our bald tires. It is still deplorable to rent a vehicle that is not well-maintained.

(Translated by Google) The proposed circuit is suitable for a family. However, the boat trip to St Jean cove was a bit disappointing.
Our big favorite was the Seigneurie du Triton, one more day would have been very appreciated.
One more day in Tadoussac would have allowed us to explore a bit more. The zodiac tour in this region is a success. The only downside was the sofa bed in the motel which was really not comfortable.
The other accommodations were very appreciated.
The reserved vehicle was not available, and we were provided with a vehicle of a lower category. This caused some inconveniences, particularly with the trunk volume.
This trip was a success and we will keep great memories, just like the great landscapes we crossed.

(Translated by Google) 14-day trip with a sequence of accommodations and activities, and everything went perfectly. We were able to enjoy our trip without worrying about the organization. Great experience.
A very beautiful well-organized trip
(Translated by Google) A very beautiful road trip, we particularly enjoyed the Triton Outfitter, where you can easily stay for 3 days. The children really enjoyed swimming and paddleboarding on the lake. Quebec is a very beautiful stop. Be careful of the journey between the Saguenay stop and the one for whale watching, depending on the location of your accommodation, you may have to backtrack to cross the fjord by car since there is no option between Tadoussac and Chicoutimi. Very good support from Authentik Canada throughout the stay. [...]
(Translated by Google) Perfectly organized trip! Unforgettable places and experiences. App with integrated steps. Only downside: reservations are often made on the forest side (ask for the fjord/bay side) and some are aging (the Concorde and Quebec / auberge des battures in the fjord) but otherwise great!
Road trip July 2024
(Translated by Google) Very good organization. During my trip, I had to call Authentik Canada and they were very responsive.
(Translated by Google) We went away for 2 weeks to tour Quebec: Montreal, Quebec City, Saguenay Fjords, Tadoussac, and Mauricie, and we returned delighted and with many memories. Authentik Canada listened to us to plan the trip and managed to organize the tour perfectly. It's even more enjoyable to travel when you don't have to think about the logistics of hotels, activity reservations, and car rentals, especially when you have 2 children. I can only recommend AC for the quality of their services and especially for the friendliness and availability of their advisors. Thanks again to Marine and Caroline. [...]
(Translated by Google) For a first time in Canada, it was a true success and largely thanks to the very good management of Authentik Canada. The selection of stages and accommodations is of high quality, and greatly facilitates the organization of this trip. The contact with our specialist Susyane is a real plus to refine and get valuable advice to finalize everything, and she is very professional and very kind (like many Quebecers by the way). The price is worth it, thank you! [...]
(Translated by Google) Very beautiful canoe camping experience: magnificent landscapes, a superb camping experience by the fire on a sandy island, excellent organization. In short, everything was top-notch! A big thank you to Blanche for accompanying us on this adventure!
Very beautiful family road trip
A beautiful discovery of Quebec
(Translated by Google) Very beautiful trip to Quebec organized by Authentik. Very beautiful landscapes, nice varied activities, lovely accommodations. Thanks to Véronique for her excellent follow-up.

(Translated by Google) We were 4, 2 adults and 2 children, we experienced the trip we wanted. The bookings made by Authentik had no issues, it was great, we just had to give our name and it was sorted. The Authentik app and the road book served us well. What we loved the most was the Seigneurie du Triton and the Auberge du Baluchon, in terms of activities, the kayak hike in the Saguenay was great, it was just the four of us with the guide, magical. The whale safari in Escoumins was also very good. We were disappointed by the 5-star Farm in Sacré Coeur, lots of flies, and the restaurant was really not very good. Previously, we liked being able to plan the trip we wanted and choose the accommodations.
Agency validated, totally!

(Translated by Google) We highly recommend Authentik Canada, our trip was fantastic.
I recommend buying the road book which really details everything there is to do.
Wonderful family trip

Quebec is magnificent, and Quebecers are very, very welcoming, warm, and cheerful. The shopkeepers have a truly remarkable sense of service.

We return with plenty of beautiful memories and already the intention to come back, this time to discover Gaspésie. [...]
(Translated by Google) Already convinced in 2018 by our experience with Authentik Canada, we were once again very satisfied. The implementation of the program was facilitated thanks to digitalization. And the contact was always great. Thank you.
Magnificent Quebec in autumn
(Translated by Google) A tailor-made Roadtrip allowing you to discover the gems of this little corner of paradise and suitable for families
A flawless circuit! A downside for the Sables manor.
(Translated by Google) We have adored ! Each stop had its stamp...the Cozy Inn and the Seigneurie des Tritons have a special mention. What a setting! The welcome is wonderful in these places.
The guest room in Quebec at Francine Beaulieu’s is exceptional. I have never met anyone so nice. We had the impression of being with a long-time friend...A heart on pasta!!!

A successful trip in line with our expectations and with good weather.
(Translated by Google) Very nice road trip, with a highlight at the Seigneurie du Triton. Very satisfactory and different accommodation. Very nice circuit. A word of advice: plan your road trip well in advance to have more choice in terms of accommodation.
