A trip to the Royal BC Museum is a Must! It is the perfect opportunity to learn more about First Nations culture, the pioneer days and the natural history of British Columbia.

Founded in 1886, the Royal BC Museum is known for the creativity of its exhibitions. It is also an internationally renowned center for research, education and museographic innovation.

The First Peoples Gallery highlights the differences between the various First Nations of coastal BC, and the effects of Contact with the first Europeans.  

The gallery also features a stunning collection of masks and totems from the different nations.

The Modern History Gallery recreates scenes from British Columbia's history over the past 200 years, for an attractive and entertaining experience that will delight visitors of all ages.

Finally, you won't want to miss the Natural History Gallery, with its life-sized landscapes and ecosystems, and fascinating tidepools and aquariums teeming with marine life.

* Admission to IMAX is not included.
* There is a restaurant and a gift shop on site.
* Available on site : coat and bag check, strollers and baby change areas. wheelchairs, elevators and washrooms for disabled on every level, drinking fountains and cash machines (near the IMAX Victoria).
