Inside Passage - Port Hardy to Prince Rupert

The Inside Passage is a cruising route that extends from Washington State to southeastern Alaska. The British Columbia portion makes up the longest section of this route.

Not only will an Inside Passage cruise give you a break from driving, it will give you a chance to see many islands that would not otherwise be accessible.

Port Hardy to Prince Rupert Cruise

Haïda Gwaii archipelago

This almost 16-hour scenic cruise provides a wide variety of stunning coastal views and passes more than a dozen islands. You won't want to miss Haïda Gwaii archipelago , often compared to the Galápagos Islands because of its unique flora and fauna!

You may also see marine wildlife including dolphins, whales and sea lions. You will need to book your cruise ahead of time with your travel specialist. Essential services are provided on board, as well as a restaurant, a gift shop and a play area for the younger passengers.

In summer, the ferry leaves Port Hardy early in the morning and reaches Prince Rupert just before midnight. One stop along the way provides an opportunity to take some photos on terra firma.

Cruise in the company of whales

Bonnet Tuesday August 9, 2016

(Translated by Google) Pleasant cruise but we expected landscapes of fjords, in fact it is rather islands. We have come across several whales in the distance.
