Get prepared to pick up your RV

To pick up your vehicle with peace of mind, we invite you to consult the section related to your RV renter below.

Some of our suppliers will offer a shuttle service to their branch and others will invite you to take a taxi and reimburse the fare afterwards. It is also possible that the transfers to and from the branch be at your expense. You will find below all the information to get to your vehicle.

BAROUDEUR

This rental company does not offer a transfer to get to their Montreal branch. You will need to get to your vehicle on your own and at your own expense. 

Before your departure, you will need to send a copy of your driver's license and complete and sign the general rental policies as well as the Baroudeur Charter. You must send everything to Le Baroudeur at: info@lebaroudeur.ca. It will be important to complete these steps before arriving on site.

You will also need to choose your appointment time for pick-up via the calendar by clicking here. It will be imperative to respect the appointment time in order to avoid too many people on site.

We strongly invite you to watch the orientation video of your vehicle, in order to familiarize yourself with it.

 

CANADREAM

Canadream does not offer any transfer. Therefore, you will need to organize your trips to the rental location and back. Any costs, relating to the travel to and from the branch, will be at your own charge.  

Mandatory online check-in

It is mandatory to pre-register within 5 days prior to your pick up to schedule a time to meet. If you still haven't pre-register 24 hours prior to your departure, Canadream will randomly assign you an appointment time and it will unfortunately not be possible to change it.   

To check-in, you will need your confirmation number, which can be found on your voucher. When the time comes, head to the following website: https://www.canadream.com/online-check-in/. During the pre-registration process, you will have the possibility to choose the appointment time for your pick up. It is important that you respect the appointement time confirmed by Canadream. You will also be required to watch the orientation videos, so that you can get familiarized with your vehicle. 

For all other information regarding your pick up and drop off branches as well as their address(es), please refer to the voucher that will be given to you following the final payment of your balance.

 

CITÉ CARAVANE

Since Cité Caravane doesn't offer any transfer option, you will have to reach the branch by your own means. Any cost associated with it will be at your own charge.

Please note that the rental office is closed during lunch hour (12pm - 1pm) and on Saturdays and Sundays.

We also recommend that you watch the information video (French only). Although the video is about the C31 model, you will still find many general informations that can apply to every of Cité Caravane's vehicles. 

 

CRUISE CANADA

If you have selected the Round trip Transfers + AM pick up + PM drop off, it is mandatory to call the rental office at the number provided on your voucher prior to your pick up to schedule your vehicle pick up time.

Even if you didn't purchase the transfer option, it is still mandatory to call the rental office the day before or in the morning to arrange your pick up time. This is to prevent having too many people at the rental location at the same time.  

We invite you to watch the orientation video for your vehicle (see below) to familiarize yourself with it. To save time at the counter on the day of your pick up, you can fill the Express Check In form in advance. 

 

FOUR SEASONS

If you pick up your vehicle in Calgary, Edmonton or Halifax, your round-trip transfer is included, subject to certain conditions. Simply follow the instructions below to make your appointment if you wish.
If you pick up your vehicle in Vancouver or Toronto, transfers are possible, but these are chargeable ($).

To plan your transfer with Four Season, you must call the number provided on your voucher 48 hours prior to your vehicle pickup to schedule a time and place to meet.  Any additional information regarding your transfer can be found on your voucher.

If your rental doesn't include the transfer, you must still call the branch to schedule your appointment, but you will have to reach the location by your own means. Any cost associated with it will be at your own charge. 

We suggest you proceed with the express check-in online before your arrival, in order to speed up the process on the day of pick-up. The "username" is your reservation number found on your voucher and the "password" is the last name used when making the reservation.

FRASERWAY

If you purchase the transfer option, you must call the number provided on your voucher 48 hours prior to your vehicle pickup to schedule a time and place to meet. Any additional information regarding your transfer can be found on your voucher. If your rental doesn't include the transfer, you still must call the branch to schedule your appointment, but you will have to reach the location by your own means. Any cost associated with it will be at your own charge.

KARMA CAMPERVANS

Since Karma doesn't offer any transfer option, you will have to reach the branch by your own means. Any cost associated with it will be at your own charge.

You must contact Karma Campervans at least 72 hours prior to your pick up to provide a credit card for the security deposit. 

The morning of your pick up, Karma Campervans will send you an e-mail with the location of your vehicle as well as the numerical code to access it. Unlike other rental companies, Karma Campervan's pick up process is entirely contactless. 

If you haven't purchased an insurance with your rental, don't forget that you will be required to provide a proof of insurance to access the vehicle (personal insurance or credit card insurance). Be sure to make all the necessary verifications beforehand to be certain that you are properly covered in case of an accident.   

 

MERIDIAN RV

At least 14 days prior to your pick, you will be required to fill the pre-check in form on Meridian website and return it to them by e-mail at the following address: reservations@meridianrv.com. To do so, you will need your confirmation number, which can be found on your voucher.

You will also have to call Meridian the day prior (between 03h00 p.m. and 04h30 p.m.) or the morning of your pick up (between 8h30 a.m. and 10h00 a.m.) to know the exact time of your pick up. It is important that you respect the appointment time confirmed by Meridian and it will not be possible to change it. 

If you rental includes a transfer, please note that this option is available from downtown and airport hotels only (no private residences, Airbnb or hostels). No transfer will be made from the airport directly. If you travel with kids, it is your responsability to have the proper child seats to make sure they sit in the shuttle safely and in accordance with the law. Please noted that it will not be possible to embark bike, snowboard, ski or any other bulky lugage in the shuttle.  

 

NORTH CAMPERVANS

If you rent a Campervan model, be sure to watch the orientation video prior to your arrival at the branch to familiarize yourself with the vehicle.

If you rent the iKampervan, the orientation tour will be done on location. 

Since North Campervans doesn't offer any transfer option, you will have to reach the Calgary branch by your own means. Any cost impled will be at your own charge.

It is essential that you respect the hour of pick up mentioned on your voucher. If you want to request a change of your appointment time, please contact your travel agent as soon as possible. No change will be possible less than 48 business hours prior to pick up. 

If you haven't purchased an insurance with your rental, don't forget that you will be required to provide a proof of insurance to access the vehicle (personal insurance or credit card insurance). Be sure to make all the necessary verifications beforehand to be certain that you are properly covered in case of an accident.   

 

RVandB

RVandB offers the delivery of the vehicle directly to the airport. If you did not purcharse this option, you will have to reach the branch by your own means.

One week before the pick-up, you will need to call RVandB to decide on a meeting time for your pick-up, as well as to make payment for the security deposit. It will be mandatory to respect the agreed meeting time.

The rental company office is inside a public warehouse. Just go inside the building. The vehicles are stored behing it. 

 

VAN LIFE 

Since Van Life doesn't offer any transfer option, you will have to reach the Montreal branch by your own means. Any cost implied will be at your own charge.

The day of the pick up, head to the address indicated on your voucher. It is essential that you respect the hour of pick up indicated on your voucher.
